What really amazes me is how little faith you all have in the institutions. You don't trust the border control officers to handle the craravan. Now you also distrust the legal system to defend your rights.
Why are you all expecting so much incompetence?

I think they need to get into the US before being able to be deported.

So, don´t let them cross the border in the first instance. Problem solved.

Because Democrats have installed activist judges who don't care about the legal system and want to move the progressive agenda forward, and top Democrat politicians have said they do not believe in borders. They also refuse to engage in fixing the immigration problem in Congress. Thankfully the Supreme Court has not been overrun.
