This really makes the most sense. Nice job care.

Now the question becomes what party or which politicians are talking about this or something close to it?

And a large portion of Americans like to pretend there isn't anything wrong with their healthcare system. I mean seriously going by your examples that is just ridiculous. I mean what kind of country has all the rights that you Americans get, one of the very last places where real REAL freedom of speech exists, where you have the right to guns, the right to self preservation and all the others and yet you don't have a right to not be screwed over by a system that is so corrupt that it is pretty much a bet on you living and either you pay and stay healthy in which you lose or you get sick and have to still pay and then possibly die and you still lose.

I'm not saying the NHS is perfect but I'd prefer that than your for profit system. I know Americans will defend it and pretend I mean point to American backed research companies that claim it is the best of the best but still please tell me the number of Americans against this sort of system is rising.

I agree. The head in the sand mentality in the US drives me crazy. Learn from those who have good ideas, don't ignore them just because they aren't from where you're from.
It's blatantly obvious that some countries' health care systems are better than ours nowadays. Why not copy what they do? Or at the very least, pick out the good parts to use?
Because we, as a country, are too stubborn to do that. "But but but, it ain't American!" "How dare you suggest such a thing, ya stupid Commie!"
I say, who cares if the idea didn't originate in America? It's better than the American plan.

i just received the details of my recommended exchange health plan for next year. For a few more $'s per month my deductible will go from $5.000 to $1.000. Big win for me as i have lots of stuff to get checked.

Well, sure....that would be grand.

How do you eliminate the huge charges already in place.....the high cost of drugs and procedures, the runaway tort cases, the crazy charges for kleenex and supplies, multi doctors saying "hello" to pad their wallet and your bill????

This is funny and sad.

New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a quick answer when asked how Americans would pay for the 'Medicare for all' plan she and other socialist-leaning Democrats favor:

"Just pay for it."
