The United States Department of the Interior's Inspector General released a report the other day and it's a whopper !!

Looks like one single employee there is "responsible" for some big time malware getting into the "interior" of the government department 😆

Watching and downloading from porn sites while pretending to be "working" 😃

This has been a problem in the past and yet insiders have done nothing to stop this outrage.

Bet it's over paid and under qualified Democrats and deep state flunkies 🤷

Porn-Watching Employee Infected Government Networks With Russian Malware, IG Says

Government auditors traced a malware infection back to a single porn-watching employee within the U.S. Geological Survey.

An Interior Department watchdog recommended the U.S. Geological Survey ratchet up internet security protocols after discovering its networks had been infected with malware from pornography sites.

The agency’s inspector general traced the malicious software to a single unnamed USGS employee, who reportedly used a government-issued computer to visit some 9,000 adult video sites, according to a report published Oct. 17.

Please tell me that this is grounds for being fired - either the employee for doing this or the IT guy for not having proper protection on the machines. I know I've seen some gov computers with outdated anti-virus (only 2 years since last update - no big deal really...........) and it really should be both being held responsible.

There's no reason for the government to not have a web filter, such as Untangle. www.untangle.com...

We use this at work. And it catches and logs everything. Would of protected from the malware as well.

I remember there was an instance back during the housing crash where they investigated and discovered that the department in charge of watching for the things that should have warned against the problems that caused that crash missed it in part because they were too busy watching porn on their computers at work.

The solution?

It wasn't to fire down to where the workload was one that would keep the department too busy to surf porn. Nope. They hired someone to monitor them and keep them from watching porn. And no one was fired.

Sounds legit. I'll bet it worked ... NOT.

What happened to Hillary/ She is the one who purposely let her server be accessed in order to sell off American secrets. and Feinstein employing a spy for 20 years to do the same. Typical politicians blaming it on someone who wasn't involved

Seems to me that this was the excuse for sending special forces to a observatory in New Mexico, they shut it down and ajoining post office, story doesn't make sense, when a govt computer has been breached,CIA is recording them,my buddy is retired head incripter as he says you never retire,he gets calls on breaches all the time, not likely
