SHALOM Pilgrimage to the Three Stooges

The massacre broke my heart.
In classic Hebrew fashion, I am to showing respect for the dead (kavod ha-met), and comforting the living (nihum avelim).
...and with men who made us smile.

In 2016, I went to Los Angeles for business. I took an extra day to go and pay homage to my departed heroes.

The coast of southern California is the resting place for many famous people. I finally located the
cemetery for the grandest-grapehead of all time, Curly.

In the Home of Peace Cemetery in east LA, 4334 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90023
It's an old Jewish cemetery. My friend told me that the local neighborhood is not as nice as it was in 1920 so we should go in the morning.

None the less, off we went.

The grounds were very somber and well taken care of. These old cemeteries have quite a presence.

Hmmm. augustus and geezlouise planned a pretty good bar crawl and human sacrifice party back in 16. maybe this year we can add a pie fight.

I think he pioneered the whole 'exasperated barking/grunting' thing in comedy.

...I'm supposed to be working, but I've watched that oyster soup video 3 times now.

There's nothing funnier than hitting someone on the head with a hammer and having a coconut-bonking noise occur.
