Oh my, the bridge guy.

"Watch out for those Pelosi Pimple-Poppers"

Isn't Pelosi the low-IQ "leader" who said,

"If there's collateral damage from our protests, so be it."?

I did not mean to imply, a simple solution, to upholding one's "oath/sworn duty". Obviously, many have taken "the oath", apparently having not read it. For what they were "swearing" to.

Only a small fraction of Americans have ever taken "The Oath". A vast majority of us were "Private Soldiers", citizens, doing our duty to "uphold" our oath. Not for Republicans, not for Democrats, not even for the "safety" of Americans (our countries) people. But for the "law", that makes us a people/Americans.

To Pelosi, an "OATH" is a "heathen ritual". A formality, like, ("how do you plead"),".. Pleading, implies guilt. That must be done, before you violate "your oath".

I know. It's "Crazy talk".

Re: "If we ever want to reset the country"?.. It probably will come to that. I'd like to do all I can do, to prevent that. War is ugly. I've seen a little of it. (Mostly as a "clean-up" crew. ..."We F'd them everyway but sideways, .. Now "WE" need thier "hearts and minds").

But that is, not here or there.

But it has been done before. "Nothing new under the sun"...
The goal is to prevent it, if at all possible.

We'll have to agree to disagree then.

I'm not a Democrat (or Republican), but change is good, when it is necessary. Right now, something has to change, because the country is going down the tubes. By almost every metric (Healthcare, education, happiness quotient, infant mortality, life expectancy, etc), the US is falling behind other countries on a yearly basis.

We got to that point by staying pretty much the same and avoiding change, while other countries are changing for the better by realizing that their system isn't perfect and can be improved upon. America has a very prideful view of ourselves (we're the best ever!), and it's to the point that it's actually affecting how great we are.

We need to have a big slice of humble pie, realize that we aren't perfect, and make the necessary changes to get closer to perfect.

I'll never understand how Pelosi gets a single vote.

Well one possible explanation is because half her district is under water !!

Sorry, political correctness, open borders and socialism is not the change we need.

"Americans"
Are going to "legalize" themselves out of a "Country", if they do not get a grip, on their emotions... Enough said.

In your opinion. Some people feel that those things are exactly what we need.

Yes, because history is full of examples of it working out so well. Look at Native Americans, unchecked immigration worked out great for them.

You are right, some people think that's a good thing. The world is full of horrifyingly stupid people.

You have to be joking.

This is some brainwashed thought here.

As far as i know both sides write the spending bill and create large deficits.

Both sides have made a total mess of immigration.

Both sides destroyed healthcare reform.

Both sides are eroding rights. The both vote to expand surveilance and both sides abuse fisa.

Both sides want the president to be a dictator.

Both sides have crazy people follow them.

You just happen to like the lies republicans tell ypu more.

Unfortunately where it matter they dont vote to help the people.

Like people who dont understand the constitution doesnt give guidance on travellers working in the the US only on naturalization.

If republicans and democrats or demoplicans i like to call them had created better guest worker programs for agriculture, food service, and construction for labor voids we wouldnt be in this mess.

Since they both benefit from illegals greatly they dont do anything.

But the public did decide it with voting. Yet the establishment leftists and their proxy controlled media continue to spread hatred and vitriol in attempts to undermine our duly elected President and the will of the American people.

I dont really buy into tribalist narrarives.
For those of you who dont actually inderstand the constitution, the federal government and president are not supposed to have broad policy power and be expected to save what lawmakers fail to do.

That is a dictator. I know the left and right really want the president to be a dictator and pass all their pet peojects but that was never the intent or philosphy set out in the constituion.

Republicans last week along with their democratic bros expanded the patriot act once again chipping away at the 4th amend...

No you are right they take away our freedoms in a better way than the other party....that is a great point.

That last line was sarcasm.

So now you're moving the goalposts because you have nothing to refute my statement.

I mostly agree with that. That would fix a lot of the problems. We also need to do away with automatic citizenship at birth for illegals/non-citizens with a few exceptions (perhaps permanent residents would have citizenship conveyed on their children automatically when they become citizens).

I think it's more likely you don't know how to respond to an independent who doesn't agree one party is better.

I apologize but this crap between us as Americans has to end, we can disagree without being petty and bullish. I think that starts with assuming both groups of people have good and bad but are mostly good as far as citizens..

Then we focus on getting them to work on our local and state policies and stop judging so and so in a state 3000k miles away. Particularly while ignoring your constituents.

I think it's the dysfunction itself that is the largest problem we face and the scapegoating Congress does for its inadequate lawmaking capability.

Let's have a president say I am running on empowering the tenth amend. Let Vermont be Vermont let Georgia be Georgia and stop pretending these people are doing their jobs because they are considered lesser of two evils.

Like you, I consider myself Independent, not party specific. However I do believe in the United States of America, the 2d Amendment (and the rest of the Constitution/Bill of Rights), and stopping the rise of progressive socialism. That is why I currently lean right and fully believe conservative courts will preserve American ideals much better than liberal ones, who like to legislate from the bench, bypassing Congress.

Unfortunately this isn't true. Aka FISA, Patriot act and the 4th.

Kavanaugh himself worked on the patriot act.

The land of Bernie Sanders has no gun carry laws. None. Except age.

Until the Republican governor passed an assault weapon bump stock ban and mag capacity ban, the state constitution of Vermont the land of hippies, had more robust pro gun laws than the constitution.

However people also need to be reasonable about public safety in dense cities. So I understand some safety restrictions or permitting for carrying. Not every state has 600k people total.

I think if we focus on the saving the 10th amend. We can all help create local places for our local ideology and stop worrying so much what so and so across the country is doing.

There's a huge graveyard in Pelosi's district too. All registered "absentee" voters.

I don't know what your smoking but her district is San Francisco.

Pretty sure she doesn't need to cheat to win. San Francisco has a lot of travel as part of the working environment.
