The border here is effectively on French soil. A border is a border. The situation remains similar. Bloody great fences would be a start. Perhaps, a wall?

Okay, pull all the troops out of Germany and just defend the border from the US side. Ever seen the Chinese land border? I have, you ain't getting past that easy...although I found a spot so I have actually entered China illegally once, but I wouldn't have got far that is for sure, just one metre to say I'd done it was good enough for me.

I'm all metric except for road speeds and distances on signs. There is an old boy I work with sometimes and he shouts out measurements in sixteenths of inches which mildly irritates me lol
