Everyone needs a scapegoat. Someone to blame the worlds woes on.

Who better than a group of people who worship just differently enough to be noticed. Who dress differently. Who, generally, mind their own business. Sound familiar?

He said it was horrific. I don't think anyone knows right now. People need to take a deep breath and realize that we are all in this life together. Blaming anyone else but the perp is not going to help the issues but cause more division. We have enough of that.

you can't create new sexes, but with science you can explain why the male/female categorizations and stereotypes fail to fit into reality. why a man can have an xx chromosome, why a person can have genitals and organs from both male and female.
these always existed, there is nothing new about it, except maybe society's understanding as to why some might decide to refuse to fit into the false, inadequate stereotypes we try to insist they remain in.

ok, I stand corrected.
but, looking a more deeper into it might be a worthy venture if we could find a way that would prevent these unhinged people from blowing up to begin with.
take the "megabomber" for instance. while it's too early to understand everything that may have prompted him to send bombs through the mail. by what I hear, his family knew he had some type of mental problems, they just couldn't get him to seek help. so maybe improving the mental health services in this country along with making it more easily obtainable and less stigmatizing would be helpful?
