I work with machines every day and like the human body, its not much of a leap, they are all engineered. You can tell. Humans are a meat machine grown out of a powerful DNA growth code. Don't need to be "qualified"

I don't think Phage would let anyone sharpen a pencil without credentials.

Credentials are not required.
But, generally speaking, I'll take what someone who has them has to say over someone who doesn't. When it comes to a particular subject. In this case, I won't put much stock in what a mechanic has to say about evolution.

I know this will be a moot point to you, but credentials don't automatically make you right, and lacking credentials doesn't automatically make you wrong.

Did I say that was the case?

In any case, Tour himself has said he himself is not qualified for a public discussion. But preaching to a choir? No problem.

Lectures are not discussions, they are not debates, and in this case they are not peer reviewed. Again, we are talking about science. You examine science, via scientific method, not popular vote.

Neighbour, I have discussed Dr Tours videos many times on here. Every time a creationist waves it about, I point out that he's not qualified to make the calls he is.

My claim is not bold because you made the point of bringing religion into it.

The Human body (and just about every living creature) is poorly engineered. Your comparison is flawed.

The problem here is the credentials he has are not applicable. IF he were a geneticists, sure he could talk about it with more credibility. But Synthetic organic chemistry is the science of turning one chemical into another. He does not talk about anything that would be relevant here. His area of research is nanotech, inorganic nanotech for the most part. If you read his papers, his bias is on what chemical reactions can do. Life is mediated by rules we can not easily replicate in the lab. An enzyme will do things, in seconds, that take many synthetic steps to mimic. My day job is making pharmaceuticals (Process development) and I know this to be so. We will use enzymes where we can, but usually jump through hoops to mimic biology.

Why Ak, you don't have to read, don't have to reply, just don't click

Why wade in with your pathetic dribble
If you are not interested, why show up

I know you didn't listen to the video, I am guessing you are just an attention seeker, we don't want it

Lol yeah and im the one bitching?

Simply put... we don't need 5 topics that say the same thing

The same topic is repeated here time after time again. The same insanity is repeated.

Scientific method, really?
That's a joke
You wouldn't know scientific method if I hit you in the face with it

I have in the past and you reacted by saying I didn't know what I was talking about

So Noindie, what is the scientific

Assume and then believe because there are no other options

Really, poorly engineered
Compared to what exactly
Care to explain that absurdity in real terms

Can you think of anything, point to anything better engineered

You should keep your mouth closed
What you prove is no matter how amazing a human body is, give it a fools mind anf it looks useless

Either didn't watch the video or understand it did you

Just ranting because you have that old confirmation bias, so what is it

Tours stated he wasn't qualified to discuss evolution or creation according to what you linked, but hey, why NT smear it across the board and say he isn't qualified for anything

Do you have a theory how everything came from nothing, magic, space dust space water lightning

As I understand it, changes to DNA, and epigenetics perhaps to a lesser degree.
But I don't have the credentials so you can ignore what I said.
