America, The Land Of Death?!

I personally feel the death penalty should be adopted only if it deters murder. However, it could only do this if murderers understood the consequences of their actions before acting, and since this is not so, I think we must reject adopting the death penalty.

The UK has no death penalty, but many American states do!

I am totally against it, and would hate to live in America for this simple reason. Death instills fear in the innocent, but I think the American judicial system itself is far scarier.

It would be interesting to find out what you yanks out there think...
