Oh this is just great.

The Mayor of Tallahassee Florida is running for Governor and now he's been caught taking tickets to a show as a sort of "bribe".

Yes folks, he got the "tickets" from an under cover FBI guy who was snooping around for corruption in Tallahassee as part of a massive ongoing investigation.

It's Komrade Andrew Gillum and he's a Democrat 😃

He's not doing too bad in the polls either !!!

In a debate, he avoided questions about this whole debacle 😸

I think there must have been blue dye on those tickets !!

Records show FBI agents gave Andrew Gillum tickets to ‘Hamilton’ in 2016

Undercover FBI agents were the ones who gave Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum a ticket to the Broadway show Hamilton during a trip to New York City in 2016, according to a trove of records given to the ethics commission and released to the public today.

Text messages between Gillum and former lobbyist Adam Corey, who arranged outings with undercover agents looking into city corruption, were among more than 100 pages of records Corey gave the ethics commission, which is investigating trips to Costa Rica and New York that Gillum took in 2016.

Corey's lawyer, Chris Kise, released the records today, just two weeks before the election, because the state ethics commission issued a subpoena for the records just last week.

Yep....that's our mayor. Crime spiked under Gillum and he blocked power and service crews during the previous two hurricanes because he didn't want the city's service workers exposed to and lured to better paying companies.

The FBI's investigation of his corruption and indictment need to be better communicated.

He also wants to impose statewide medicare for all, without a plan to pay for it. There's hint that he wants to attempt to impose a state income tax. Say bye-bye to businesses.

It looks like most of the corruption evident in Gillum was not reported but it WAS "graded" like a term paper. The FBI needs to man up and bring the corruption to an end.

Yes and Gillum double down and claimed again Tuesday that he didn’t get the tickets from the fbi

If it wasn’t a sort of bribe, why continue to lie about it when incontrovertible evidence has been shown to counter his claim?

Why didn't the (under cover) FBI say what they asked for in return for the tickets, or did I miss that?

This mayor was simple-minded enough to break the law, in order to see a play? Holy smokes.

If they break laws this easily and willingly, a real crack-down would yield hundreds of indictments!

Because under state law, he isn't allowed to accept gifts from lobbyists regardless of any explicit promises being made in return.

Ah, so the FBI agent(s) were representing themselves as lobbyists? From reading earlier I missed that.

Any politician that accepts gifts from people makes themselves appear a target for worse either way, IMO.

And he thinks he's getting away with it too.

Bet he gets "caught up" in that big investigation right before the election.

He'll need 2 psychiatrists before they're done with him.

It is a progressive's window to rewrite history to fit the current narrative.
