We have plenty of land and resources. The only thing holding us back are the stupid regulations on our economy, and the paranoid nationalists.

So open borders and all are welcome then right... no need to declare yourself, just sneak over the border, or smash your way through and then melt into some sanctuary city. Yeah, cool.

When it comes right down to it, that is the left's argument and their demonstrable policy.

Is that Christian charity?

Christianity is not a suicide pact.

Charity is not the same as some kind of endless globalist welfare program for the s***hole countries.

Many dictionaries define charity as “Christian love.” This form of Christian love is also described as agape love -- "the love of Christians for other persons, corresponding to the love of God for humankind."

It was much easier to come here legally back then. Now we're trying to keep everyone out unless they have the money to come in. Many of them are facing deep poverty that our drug and gun policies guarantee. I don't blame some of them for hating us.

I didn't say that. There's no reason why we can't develop a more flexible policy that benefits both Americans and migrants.

I want a free economy. What we have now guarantees a wage-slave majority. You're the one advocating for more slavery.

Calls up a church who is pushing to bring in refugees and the church itself doesn't do anything to help other than bringing them here. Then when asked to do their part and house and feed them, they won't.

The majority of people coming here just want to live and function in a stable environment. If you want to stop MS-13, end the war on drugs and guns. Don't be so thick.

Don't disagree, but the migrant caravan are not coming to stand in line and wait for legal status.
Immigration policy should be based on what skills the country requires to further the good of all citizens.
That's why I have zero issue with legal immigration in my own country for the people we need. Builders, service industry workers, doctors, nurses. Can be anyone from any country as long as it is legal.

If we don't learn to let go a little, it will be the immigrants who inherit this land whether the Trumpsters like it or not. Our self-serving policies are already catching up with us.

The immigrants will inherit this land anyway, and regardless. The Anglo-American culture will fade into the ash bin of history and more worthy and deserving Hispanic and POC will inherit the US. Why? Because the US government with the assistance of the UN has abrogated its sovereign control of the borders.

What I find amusing is why..........why in the world, do working Anglo-American's continue to support this broken government with their tax dollars? They are truly coming to look like idiot suckers in the eyes of the rest of the world. And................they are!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Poverty in the third world is all our fault. Or maybe it's their own backwards cultural patterns that are holding them down.

Not all 3rd world poverty is our fault, but the drug and weapons trade certainly is. Every new regulation, every new anti-drug law is more blood on the hands of the voters who backed the politicians.

Must be very nice to live in a country that still has control of its borders and can pick and chose who comes in. The US lost that ability after the end of WWII with the adoption of UN rules on immigration.

Unfortunately we also have an influx of immigrants that just sit around sponging off others. Those people, I'd like to see kicked out and ideally not let in in the first place.

The caravan is coming, because of America's blood policies. We've kicked the can down the road long enough. Now we reap what we've sown.

That's because the UK has socialist policies. People always gravitate towards hand-outs. Its the path of least resistance.
