I have no idea if it is true or not but he did not say they did not vote, he said they did not support. He may well have lied but you have not proven such yet.

Things can still be approved by someone but not necessarily have the support...you know what I mean.

There are many times I don't support a business decision but I know it needs to be done.

An example would be laying people off.

This argument doesn’t hold water.

There are 23 cosponsers to this bill, 14 of them are Democrats. Also, the Democrats wanted to go further than the Republicans on this bill. They wanted more of what the bill was offering not less. That indicates “support” for the basis of the bill, actually more support than the Republicans.

Yep, no support at all.

They're too busy trying to redefine that voting for something isn't supporting it.

'Truth isn't truth' as someone uttered recently...

That may be the millionth lie Trump has told.

One gets disgusted listening to the cultists defend this congenital liar, over and over

He also now is going around lying about health insurance and taxes

I hope and pray the country wakes up. Now they support Obamacare and want pre-existing conditions but the GOP still is sponsoring a bill to gut the preconditions protection in Obamacare.

Of course, Trump and the GOP are lying and pretending they support precondition protections and the fact is they've tried over and over to gut them

Who said it was a lie? Voting for it is not the same as writing it and championing it in congress. Maybe it was republicans that did all the work (support). Who knows? More importantly, who cares? It passed.

Honestly, I have a hard time calling this a bi-partisan success. Even though both sides voted for it I have to believe the only reason democrats didn't extend their anti-Trump nonsense to this bill was because it was such a necessary no-brainer that shooting it down would be political suicide. It wasn't nearly as bipartisan as it was self-preservation.

What exactly do you mean by "gut"?

The GOP bill(s) allow for pre-existing conditions. The issue not yet resolved is pricing. The current wording of the bill would leave a loophole that unscrupulous insurers cold use to gauge people with pre-existing conditions. It does not eliminate the coverage as you seem to be implying. Further, many insurers require nothing more than one year of proof of insurance prior to changing policies in order to cover a pre-existing condition. The only type of pre-existing condition they won't cover is the one you just discovered you had and then went to get an insurance policy to pay for it. Its like getting a car insurance policy right after you get in an accident and need someone to fix your car. The current wording of the bills also allows an insurer to deny pre-existing coverage, however, they would have to do so with a blanket rule that would affect every single policy they issue. They can't cherry-pick the individuals they don't want to cover. It would apply to every business, every tier, every person. In other words, it wouldn't be very attractive to potential customers. Insurance companies have always over charged one group to pay for another. In no way is this new or unexpected. It sucks, but that is the insurance industry.

The GOP policies need to be cleaned up but at least you won't be fined or imprisoned for not getting one.

Oh i can play this one name a communist country that wasn't nationalistic. Most countries are nationalistic or they wouldn't be a country. See people elect leaders to represent their best interests. So the only countries that aren't are ones with monarchs. Because then its there country and they just let you live there.

I don't think it was. At all. Your intentions were to make those nasty liberals and lefties more prone to fascism. Which is simply not true, because fascism eventually leads to an extremely far right government, always.

Socialism isn't a form of government, it's a form of social constructs that a government adopts to better a society as a whole and make people more equal in their daily lives with equity, IE universal healthcare, social insurance, not discriminating against gender, ethnicity, religions, etc, etc... basically just let laws govern. the people, not tell people how to live their lives.

The Islamic State is nationalist, because it wants to create a state that enforces Islam and Islamic law, but they are not fascist because they do not argue that there is any biological basis for their organization
