OhOh looks like Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein might be in hotter water as his crow dinner continues to broil.

An xFBI lawyer named James A. Baker testified before a Congressional Committee (closed door).

Right after the testimony ended, a Congressman stated RR must resign right now 😃

Ol' Rod has been accused of possibly plotting against Trump to "overthrow" him !!

Birds are singing and chirping like it's mating season 😎

Baker "resigned" from the FBI last year, after he was outed as a James Comey deep swamper.

Rep. Meadows Calls For Rosenstein to “Resign Immediately” Following James Baker Testimony He Plotted to Oust Trump From Office

Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) called for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to step down Thursday following explosive testimony from Comey confidant James Baker.

Former FBI lawyer James Baker appeared on Capitol Hill earlier Thursday for the second time to testify about Rosenstein’s plan to wear a wire and and the use of FISA warrants to oust President Trump from office.

Rep. Meadows emerged from the testimony Thursday calling for Rosenstein to “resign immediately.”

Is anyone else who heard the testimony calling for Rosenstein to step down? I don't know how many were in attendance for Baker's testimony but it would carry more weight if several in attendance were voicing the same opinion. Maybe there will be more opinions after some time has passed. Is this the last of the testimony from Baker?

Head of the investigation he is a key witness in, refusing to testify but goes to the news and does a sit-down? Not even a late-stage self recusal? LOL

Bump for this:
www.cbsnews.com...

"I was very concerned that I was able to put the Russia case on absolutely solid ground, in an indelible fashion," McCabe tells Pelley in the interview. "That were I removed quickly, or reassigned or fired, that the case could not be closed or vanish in the night without a trace."

wow
there is still enough arrogance left to publically admit an investigation started and continued with NO evidence

"The most illuminating and surprising thing in the interview to me were these eight days in May when all of these things were happening behind the scenes that the American people really didn't know about," Pelley said on the show.

once again we get to see how the leo's in the us government attempted to remove the duly elected president of the usa

"There were meetings at the Justice Department at which it was discussed whether the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet could be brought together to remove the president of the United States under the 25th Amendment," Pelley said. "These were the eight days from Comey's firing to the point that Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel. And the highest levels of American law enforcement were trying to figure out what do with the president."

that is clearly a coup attempt

Pelley said McCabe confirms in their interview that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered to wear a wire in meetings with President Trump. Previously, a Justice Department statement claimed that Rosenstein made the offer sarcastically, but McCabe said it was taken seriously. "McCabe in [the 60 Minutes] interview says no, it came up more than once and it was so serious that he took it to the lawyers at the FBI to discuss it," Pelley told "CBS This Morning."

good ole RR
who appointed that special council again

this whole "investigation' is corrupt and no more that a 3rd world attempt at removing a sitting president

good thing obama only hired or appointed fools
had he put people in with actual skills trump would not have stood a chance

Wow .... A republican from the south.... Says this.

no
mccabe and pelly said these things

you would know that if you actually read the story
but hey, we have all learned that you talk out of your butt without reading anything, so what is new?

Are you thinking this is a new song? Cuz its the same old tune as yestersay.

Having the same person who appointed the special council revealed to have volunteered to wear a wire to use the 25th ammendment to unseat a sitting president is a big deal.
Especially when the volunteer says he did not do this.

Sounds like treason.

www.foxnews.com...

In reaction to the interview, a Justice Department spokesperson told Fox News that Rosenstein "again rejects Mr. McCabe's recitation of events as inaccurate and factually incorrect." "The Deputy Attorney General never authorized any recording that Mr. McCabe references. As the Deputy Attorney General previously has stated, based on his personal dealings with the President, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment, nor was the DAG in a position to consider invoking the 25th Amendment," the spokesman said in a statement Thursday. "Finally, the Deputy Attorney General never spoke to Mr. Comey about appointing a Special Counsel. The Deputy Attorney General in fact appointed Special Counsel Mueller, and directed that Mr. McCabe be removed from any participation in that investigation. Subsequent to this removal, DOJ’s Inspector General found that Mr. McCabe did not tell the truth to federal authorities on multiple occasions, leading to his termination from the FBI.”

so who is lying?

the "justification" for the counter intell investigation has been paupadpalous's drunken rambling about emails
they had the bs dossier
and they attempted to use such to unseat the president
and used such to get mueller appointed

this is even worse than advertised

And the only "justification" for an "obstruction" investigation was that Comey was fired.
Which is the potus constitutional duty.
This is going to be revealed to be really really nasty.

Leo's do not get to investigate the president for doing his job.

RE: www.cbsnews.com...

When was the Obstruction of Justice probe of President Trump launched? Or was it?

The letter from Rosenstein to Mueller was to investigate, "Conspiracy with Russia to affect outcome of 2016 election."

It appears from what I have read that McCabe launched it in the fbi.
It also appears McCabe and RR are not on the same page.
IMO both will burn for it.

Plus McCabe squealed on RR too.

Things are about to blow up big time.

When do you call it an attempted Coup?

He volunteered to wear a wire and record his conversations with the president.
He engaged in discussions to use the 25th to unseat a president.
I think he is in every way a bad guy.
