HUGE Drop Off In Reported UFO Sightings...What's The Reason?

As I recall the UK released it's UFO files in 2013. If reports fell in 2014, I don't think these dates are purely co-incidental.

I'd be less inclined to report a UFO sighting now, unless it was something pretty major, because, it seems like the government has lost interest now, and that the report wouldn't be investigated.

I also think the world has became much grimmer. People are more worried now about Russians poisoning their tea (novichok) and unrecyclable paper cups, rather than to consider the bigger picture. It's as if the news is set up that everything is catastrophic and hopeless and it's all our fault. Climate change being a big example.

So it's a combination of, does the government still care, and the war on terror, has created more terror - people are less inclined now to take a look around.
