The line up would have to include Brian Jones, purely for his ability to play 28 different instruments, and play them all well.

Probably also include Mike Pinder, the greatest Mellotron player.

Brad Delp would be my singer.

But I would just like to hear Stevie Ray Vaughn jam live one more time.

I'd have to go with an epic jazz jam band
Buddy Rich - Drums
Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen - Bass
Charles Mingus - Bass
Joe Pass - Guitar
Wes Montgomery - Guitar
Django Reinhardt - Guitar
Oscar Peterson - piano
Ray Charles - piano & vocals
Louis Armstrong - cornet & vocals
Miles Davis - trumpet
John Coltrane - sax
Kid Ory - trombone
Pete Fountain - clarinet
Joe Cocker - vocals
Janis Joplin - vocals
Aretha Franklin - vocals

geez ... even just thinking of Ray Charles & Janis Joplin doing a duet of Summertime .... sigh ...

Vinne Paul: Drums
Dimebag: Guitar
Cliff Burton: Lead bass
Lemmy: Bass and vocals

Not a standard set up, but I love me some crazy, crunchy, low down, dirty, bass heavy rock and metal. Vinnie would lay down some rock steady, powerful beat, Lemmy would synch into it, along with Burton. Dime would burst through with some sonic devastation, and during the solo he and Burton would play back and forth, soloing highs and lows, and gelling up into improbable harmonies, before allowing the thing to settle. The chorus and verses otherwise would be laden with Lemmy's usual guttural delivery, with band shouts thrown in for laughs.

For vocal I'd pick Freddie Mercury, a bass guitarist is Cliff Burton, a solo guitarist is Jimi Hendrix, and a drummer (I don't know a lot of them :c ) I think Vinnie Paul. Oh, and also I would add Dolores O'Riordan as back vocal or sometimes leading. I wanted to be like one of those. They are great. I learn now playing guitar. I bought Yamaha musiety.com/yamaha-cgs102a-review-half-size-full-value/. I think it's a good start for beginners. Maybe one day I'll be as skillful as they.
