Bro, lay off the HGH. No one needs to be shot. A simple detain then deport immediately.
so apparently they are taking trumps threat seriously and apparently the march leader has been arrested and deported back to Guatemala accesswdun.com...
The Mexican government has reinforced security at its southern border with Guatemala before a 2,000-person caravan of Hondurans is expected to try to enter the country and head for the United States, according to a local report. Hundreds of Mexican Federal Police, including General Commissioner Manelich Castilla, and officers from the National Institute of Migration, the country’s immigration agency, arrived in Tapachula, Chiapas, on Tuesday. Chiapas is one of two Mexican states that border Guatemala. Federal officials believe the Honduran group will try to enter Mexico from the state’s 200-mile international border, according to La Prensa. The State Department confirmed to the Washington Examiner Tuesday afternoon that the “large group of migrants is making its way north to Mexico and onwards” to the U.S. border. “We are concerned that these migrants have been the victims of false promises by those seeking to exploit them,” a State official wrote in an email. “We continue to partner with Central America countries to address the underlying economic, security, and governance conditions that drive illegal immigration to the United States.”
so Guatemala apparently bends the knee to trump
ESQUIPULAS, Guatemala (AP) — The latest on a caravan of Central American migrants hoping to reach the United States (all times local): 2:35 p.m. Guatemalan authorities have detained a former Honduran lawmaker traveling with a migrant caravan that is heading toward the United States and that drew a tweet from U.S. President Donald Trump threatening to suspend aid to Honduras. An official with Guatemala's migration agency confirms the detention of ex-legislator Bartolo Fuentes along with two other people, Wilmer Simon Gomez and Michael Fajardo. The men were detained for not having registered with migration officials on entering the country. Fuentes was to be taken to a migrant shelter in Guatemala's capital and then deported. The official agreed to confirm the detention only if not quoted by name because she was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. Guatemala has also closed migration facilities at the border crossing at Agua Caliente to prevent the entry of other Hondurans.
The law allowing immigrants from South and Central America (excluding Mexico) has been in effect since Bush Sr enacted it.
The October surprise is that under Trump, the tide of illegals coming north has been stemmed, and the Democrat operatives that organized this are about to have egg all over their faces when it fails this time.
And third... this is an invasion, actually the second round of an invasion since Trump took office. It is an organized excursion illegally onto American soil without regard for our laws. So, in order to protect the US from invasion, Trump has every right (I would say a duty) to call the military in to secure the border... and he has already said he will.
