I cant seem to find if this has been posted, so here it is:

This is a HUGE document, 118 pages. But it contains unclassified data about the USAF budget the last three years. Some very interesting stuff. Make sure to look at pages 20-30 as it shows the actual dollars budgeted, per aircraft type, that the USAF wants to spend for either new examples or modifications to existing planes.

One number I was suprised to see was $70million in F22 upgrades. Mmmm...wonder what those can be?

I was also suprised to see new purchases for V22's. Also notice that the USAF spends the same or more on airlift planes than attack aircraft...Including the F22's!!

It says the USAF will receive 271 F-22's by 2013, interesting.

The numbers are prone to fluctuate depending on economic and political situations.

Dude, use the link tool and please trim the link down its busting the margins of the thread.

At anyrate, that can be anything from a more comfy seat for the pilots to changing a data bus to spare parts. Unless you see an actual breakdown its impossible to tell. If it was really a black add on, It would be listed elsewhere and not easily identified.
