Here by the way is Trump saying he'd donate $1 million to the charity of her choice if she took a DNA test (2:06):

Remember, this is the guy who sued Bill Maher for $5 million in 2013 for joking that he'd donate $5 million to a charity of Trump's choice if he could prove his father wasn't actually an orangutan.

People post multiple thread all the time usually by mistake it isn’t some grand scheme or ploy. They will be closed watch.

We are 60% genetically similar to a banana so go figure.

I used that avatar to emphasize the culture of patriarchal politics during the Kavanaugh debacle. Not surprisingly, the subtly went over your head.

Clearly you are having troubles grasping that I'm immature and just like when people make funnies. How supercilious of you.

This thread, as well as all the others on ATS this morning, serve to relentlessly mock Elizabeth Warren for a decades old form that she filled out, that Harvard then exploited, and then Trump exploited, to divert our attention from the serious political issues Warren forces to the forefront of social discourse.

Well count me as part of the problem and not the solution in this thread.

Now if it's OK with you dad, I'm going to go back to having fun.

I know you wouldn't bring up some decades old thing for political reasons, but I'm lesser than you and having a good time with it.

OH WAIT!!!....now 25 years ago doesn't matter?????? WHAT????

Didn't you all JUST get done saying 25 years ago is OH SO RELEVANT...with the CAVANAUGH hearings????

The accusation is that Warren won't let this go.....That's she complicate in the circus....Not that she committed a violent felony 25 years ago.

She is not. She hasn't brought this 25 year old document up during her political career, Trump has. She's never exploited her native heritage for political benefit, her political opponents have.

Perspective is all but lost on you all!

She possesses 12 times more Native American blood than a white person from Great Britain, the report found, and 10 times more than a white person from Utah.

How bout they compare it to full blood natives ?

Instead a bunch of White people especially ones in a foreign country.

You're comparing apples and oranges (literally lol, I'm here all day people.)

But that would be hard to do considering humans share 97% of DNA with orangotans

Clearly Trump would have a hard time proving that.

In fact, I think it's safe to say Trump is more Orangutan than Warren is Indian.

Crazy times we live in.

She isn't a full-blood native. That's the whole point in this, she has SOME native bloodline in her. And she proved it. Now, Trump has to own up to what he said.

I'm about 1/12~ Comanche and literally know nothing about them or their rituals/folklore/recipes, because I was raised in suburbia.

That's what I'm saying. DNA and blood line don't equal culture. Thanks for proving my point.

Warren has been mocked for sharing some of her family's native American recipes, that she explains reflected her family's culture. Are you saying she never cooked or ate those foods? If a black man has never eaten collard greens and chittlins, does that mean he's not black?

Her native DNA percentage falls far below any standard of claiming ancestry.

Clearly enough for her to get a house on a reservation and get some of that sweet sweet casino money.

That all depends on the tribe, their constitution, and their federal-recognition status.

I'm 5/32 and a lineal (blood) member of a federally-recognized tribe. I am entitled to all tribal benefits.

Yea...I'm sure he will find a way somehow, but he can't/shouldn't get away with this one. Put up or shut up. "I never said that." So, does that mean he's senile? I want someone to play that video for him, and then ask him what he thinks.

To be fair he said 'if she proves she's Indian'. I don't think 1/1024 or even 1/64 makes you anything. But in my opinion he phrased it in such a way that would allow him to never pay out since she never claimed to be 'an Indian' (Native American), only having some ancestry.

Although as I stated earlier, that percentage is laughable.

Just for fun...Trump should donate 1/1024th. of that $1M.

Kek, that would be hilarious. But seriously, CNN bragging about her being less than 0.1% Native American is pretty cringe. I bet they are hoping their viewers don't read beyond the headline, as usual.

Boston Globe correction:

Correction: Due to a math error, a story about Elizabeth Warren misstated the ancestry percentage of a potential 10th generation relative. It should be 1/1,024.

Separately, according to the NYT

researchers found that European-Americans had genomes that were on average 98.6 percent European, .19 percent African, and .18 Native American.”

Warren has less Native American DNA than the average European-American.

You're effectively arguing with someone strictly engaged in satire, I'm worried for your mental health going forward, I have broken lesser men.

Yes, but also.... wait for it....

The whole point of a DNA test is comparing it to full blood.

Like all good little scientists do with a control sample.

Of course. But, the goal in this analysis wasn't to show she is full-blooded. Which is why it's showing the comparisons to other people who aren't full-blooded Natives. It's clear that her DNA would differ than a full-blooded Native. But, that's never been up for debate either.

Bottom line: Trump called her out multiple times to prove that she had Native American DNA and that if she did, he would donate money to charity. This is recorded on video, he 100% said that. She did prove it. Percentage doesn't matter in this case, because no percentage was brought forth from either side.

Now, instead of acting like a stand up guy, he's saying that he never said the things he was RECORDED saying. Ridiculous move.

Her test proved she had about the same or less than the average European-American.
She basically proved she is no more Native Indian than the next European American.
Thanks Pochahontas

EDIT: In spite of Pochahontas proving she is not a Native Indian, I do think that Trump shold cough up $976. Fair is fair.
