So where is he if they did not kill him seen walking in but not out?? where's the proof ? the effect has already cost them but if sanctions are put in place it'll knock them back to the 80's

The main stock market index in Riyadh fell as much as 7% on Sunday and billions of dollars were wiped off the value of leading Saudi companies.

Stocks have dropped as much as 9% since Khashoggi disappeared on October 2 after walking into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. The losses wiped out all the market's gains in 2018

I doubt the west does sanctions the money is too large.

Saudi is actually trying to strike back and claiming they will sanction others over this

Our country is morally bankrupt. Gone are the days when things like decency and supporting our democratic ideals are over.

The country is now about only money.

Hope you guys like it, because you bought it.

The United States, for the first time in a long time, is a net exporter of oil.

Although the Saudi are a part of the price of oil, they are no longer the determining factor.

So the only sanctions we would apply would be military purchases, which we have not done yet.

Long story short, OPEC is losing relevance and SA needs to answer for what happened.

Thank you for finally realizing how bad the Democratic party actually is and how badly people like the Clintons have screwed up our country.

Remember in November... Jobs before Mobs!!!

I would say this is actually a good time to buy up their depressed valuations. There will be no sanctions as already mentioned. What I expect, IF the evidence proves culpability on the part of embassy staff or military/intelligence personnel, is what Saudi has no problem doing g already. They will find a scapegoat, bemoan and denounce the actions of th e horrible Individuals involved, and behead them publicy in their kingdom.

Business can continue and hypocrites will be satisfied that Justice/vengeance has been served.

All of the players in this drama are guilty of crimes against humanity to include the U.S. Having said that--and seeing Brennan open his evil and traitorous yap about the whole thing--I'm really starting to wonder at whose feet the blame rests:

Everything surrounding the “disappearance”, perhaps “murder”, of Saudi critic/journalist Jamal Khashoggi screams manufactured geopolitical propaganda.  All current narrative indications are pushing in one direction. Here are the warning flags:

♦Flag #1 – Jamal Khashoggi in self-exile, worked for The Washington Post, and was hiding behind ‘residency’ in the U.S. WaPo is a notorious left-wing intelligence propaganda outlet for the most politicized elements within the U.S. intelligence apparatus.

♦Flag #2 – Turkey (Recep Erdogan) pushing the narrative.  Erdogan is a notorious liar when it comes to his interests, and a master manipulator. Turkey/Erdogan is the most openly staunch supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and has a self-interest in distracting/deflecting U.S. economic pressure from their ongoing relationship with Iran.
♦Flag #3 – Saudi Arabia [Mohamed Bin Salman (MbS)] has been instituting political and cultural reforms that are antithetical to the advanced objectives of the Muslim Brotherhood, Recep Erdogan (wants new Ottoman Empire), and extreme Islam.

♦Flag #4 –  The voices behind the U.S. push to promote the Jamal Khashoggi story are all aligned in one purposeful and ideological direction.  Former Obama officials including: John Brennan, Samantha Power, Valerie Jarrett et al, are all pushing the story in a transparent effort to create division between the U.S. and KSA and by extension benefit their Muslim Brotherhood and Iranian allies.

♦Flag #5 – The left-wing, highly political, intelligence apparatus – and all DC interests are joined by the notorious right-wing members of the UniParty war machine. [Rubio, Sasse, Flake, Schumer, Menendez, et al] Together with the exact same left-wing media voices (right and left), and all the political ‘think-tanks’, who advance the DC drumbeat.  Yes, the gang is all back together again in their high-brow pontification of ‘muh values‘.

♦Flag #6 – The story is being pushed into U.S. media outlets by a notorious Muslim Brotherhood mouthpiece, Khaled Saffuri:

[I]n the past 24 hours we now have a glimpse of exactly who is feeding the establishment media reporting on the Khashoggi matter — including at least one source who was tied to a joint Libyan intelligence and al-Qaeda plot to assassinate the Saudi crown prince.

Khaled Saffuri is the protege of al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is currently serving a 17-year sentence in federal prison for his role as bagman for the Libyan/Al-Qaeda assassination plot.  (read more)

Oh no that isnt the only thing the US could do. Could do things like freeze assets in US banks. Could also limit access to US banks meaning Saudis couldn't do business. Could also require any US company working in Saudi Arabia must stop. Who do you think keeps their oil wells pumping they hire US companies to get parts and repair.

Than there is the 1 2 3 agreement the Saudis want with the US. This is a requirement before the US will help build nuclear reactors in a country. Its basically promising you want use it to manufacture nuclear weapons. They want to build 2 nuclear reactors because right now they rely on oil to produce electricity. And several of the plants are in need of repair so they have an energy crisis on their hands.

Must agree with Willtell, a lot of noise but nothing of any significance will be done. Too much money.

An excellent post and I learned something from it.

I work in the oil field and they are currently trying to integrate my small part of it in Africa/SA because of global climate change restrictions.

All of this could bite them in the ass too.

Thank you for a well thought out and informative reply.

I love your fixation with the Mossad. A Saudi national who is outspoken against Saudi regime in Turkey walked in to a Saudi embassy and never walked out, because Mossad. I love your posts and mostly agree with you, but damn you are obsessed with the Israeli Intel.

Fracking, solar and wind power are cutting into Saudi oil industry profits. The biggest profits come from when oil power stations have to come online in extreme weather. With Tesla storage batteries and other means of power generation, oil just can't command the profit hikes they used to. Saudi's have been trying to move into renewable energy.

They don't pay us money anymore. oil-wise.

Except to import Americans to keep their wellheads going.

Everything changed with global oil because... Trump.

I can go overseas right now and make $235,000 a year, without paying American taxes, to keep their wellheads going.

I think you don't have enough information to make a valid opinion.

When Brennen opens his Communist mouth it certainly makes you wonder what the truth of the matter is doesn't it?
