Shoes aren't a belief system. You know what you couldn't do at your business? Deny me for being Jewish. Or for being black. You'd have a lawsuit on your hands for sure.

I don't care if you are Jewish or black, I wouldn't serve you because you won't abide by my T&C. Just like ATS...

Also just for your information, I don't serve morons.

Calm down, sunshine.

If your stores "T&C" didn't allow Mexicans, that would be illegal. I don't understand why that's so difficult to grasp.

No one is denied service because of their sexual orientation, race, or religion. Come in for a sandwich and a beer and I'll tell you what my T&C is comprised of,..... sunshine.

I probably won't patronize whatever shop you run, but I appreciate the invitation.

I'm only posing the question of whether or not discrimination by political affiliation is something that should have some protections or rules, much in the same manner of sexual orientation, race or religion.

I don't understand the animosity. I don't think I was being insulting or unreasonable.

Well Sunshine, I get a little annoyed when people want to control the way I do business and threaten to sue me.

Get an LLC open up your own place and you will soon see what I mean.

I actually have an LLC...

Then stop trying to control the way I run mine! Or anyone else just trying improve their bottom line. Mind your own business is my only suggestion.

Like I said, it's legal, but it's censorship.

The assholes applauding this should just own up to the fact that they are supporting ideological censorship.

Actually it's the public's interest and you don't have a right to conduct business any way you see fit - it's a privilege regulated and governed by law.

You can't just do anything you want, you'd lose your licensing and possibly face fines or jail time if you started really pushing the boundaries.

We the people have the power to make all the rules and close down any enterprise we see fit - that's how the government works.

You got a problem with that?

Rabbits don't own up to anything, their synaptic pathways in the logic part of the brain have been blocked by MSM audio/visual intrusions.

Sad.

It's actually governments telling them what to do. Social media is beholden to Brussels and the European Commission to combat "fake news", or else they are on the hook for billions.

As someone who doesn't want to be told how to run your own company, especially by foreign governments, now is the perfect chance to stand up and oppose this nonsense instead of defending them as if they had any other choice.

Facebook, Google to tackle spread of fake news, advisors want more.

The US Constitution delegates power to the Federal Govt in the Commerce Clause to regulate and control commerce between the states and with international states.

Business within each state is of course, under the power of each individual state to be governed as they each see fit.

Tons of businesses pay fines, face sanctions, or are even shut down completely because their operators believed they could do anything they wanted. Much to their chagrin, they discovered that the way it works is that our elected representatives vote on laws and erect agencies to regulate, police, and otherwise govern business.

You might get to personally reap the rewards of your business so long as you play by the rules, but once you start thinking you're the king of the world your days are numbered.

The theory is that in a Representative Republic, we have individual rights to a degree. But completely open and free enterprise is not and has never been one of them. It has always been regulated.

Madison's statement in an 1828 letter that the "Constitution vests in Congress expressly ... 'the power to regulate trade'."[

Read my post above with links to the Constitution, Madison's quotes, and various later Acts by Congress.

We live in a Constitutional Republic (and I study history so knew what to link to support my argument).

Not really, my disdain for trump stems from him being a draft dodging coward and letting other men do the dirty work.

trumps sense of ethics is exemplified by him cheating with a porn star while his wife was giving birth to Barron. He's going to do what trump wants regardless of anyone else feelings.
