But then Steve Scalise was shot and nearly died because someone disagreed with his politics.

I think we passed that Rubicon.

Because nuts have never shot anyone before over politics?

True! With that being said, encouraging them towards violence doesn't help!

Because that generally only happens in the times of greatest political strife.

A handful of times.

I don't see people stepping back yet. Do you?

My father-in-law is far right Republican who is a retired FBI agent. He doesn't think his pension is socialism. It's funny how the people who are most outspoken against socialism are the very same ones who benefit from it the most.

Pensions are socialism?

Since when?

His dad is possibly too polite to educate him.

So ignoring committee procedure entirely was a grand gesture on Feinstein's part to allow Lindsay Graham to look good?

What did you expect? Did you really expect both sides not to play politics with each other? That’s the whole purpose of a hearing like that. The responsibility for that crap show rests on all the politicians there who chose to act in the way they did. Key word here, chose.

Blaming it on some invented progressive war on men only serves to remove the blame from the guilty parties. Which is the purpose of that narrative.

And this is the "one party" winner-take-all mind set that has ruined our country.

There is politics and there is destroying both the expectation of legal due process and a person's reputation while you're at it because you don't figure you have any other objections to him that will cause him to be withdrawn.

The reputation game is one that might be smoothed over given time, but the way legal due process was trashed such that you now have entire rights groups openly saying that due process should be ignored in some instances, is unforgivable.

Yep, anyone who thinks we got to this point of insanity because of 1 party? Should demand a refund of their college education!

There were so many things that the Dems could have brought up about Kav and his past history (Patriot Act/Vince Foster) but they played us. I had no choice but to stick up for him because of how the match was set up for us.....

Republicans became extreme back in the Reagen days.

And have only gotten worse.

I guess the Democrats have caught on that the only way to get attention is to be as bad as the Republicans.

You reap what you sow I guess.

Really ?
That would be news to an old US citizen that lived through those years.
First I heard of such..
Any backing to your theory ?
Or , just words in a box ?

I could say sooooo much in response but someone would just call me out for "whataboutism". Even though that's technically what I'd be responding to.

If you think Trump is the standard GOP those of us my age have watched for years, you have some growing up to do and a whole lot of wisdom to absorb. It's okay, I was like you once! Once you see the same tactics repeated by the ruling class over and over again, you will get it!

What's next? Who's going to be all John Brown for the left? Are we going to reach that point? Will there be a Harper's Ferry?

Several recent events have shown the far left, which is leading the democrats, resort to violence. You can bet 100% that the Vegas massacre was another far left-winger who wanted to kill as many conservatives as possible. We will unfortunately see more events like these, and even more attempts at our conservative/Republican politicians because the DNC in general is calling for such violence, and there are many crazy left-wingers more than willing to abide by the fascists in the DNC/left.

ROFLMAO... POTUS Trump has MAGA and despite the fact that he brought millions of jobs back, the fact that he decreased unemployment, even for minorities, to levels not seen for decades, the fact that because of POTUS Trump the economy had been improving, there are more people working, less people, millions, need food stamps, he has made our NATO allies pay for our common defense, etc, etc, and leftists like yourself want to claim "he is wrecking this nation?"... LOL It was OBAMA and his administration who wrecked this nation and divided us, and to this day they are even calling for violence against the right...

Because left-wingers/socialists/communists have never murdered millions of people, and imprisoned millions more for being political opponents to socialism/communism, in your crazy and continuous attempts to implement socialism/communism?...
