I am so sorry that you are living through this. No words can replace what you've lost, and I can't even imagine. No parent wants to imagine, and this is a thing we all fear every day, I think - the loss of one of the most precious joys in this world.

I'll save extra space in my prayers for you and your family in this time. Stay strong and stay together with those you love. Help each other through this.

Have a couple close friends who have been through the same tragedy, so I can only imagine the anguish.

All I can do is send loving thoughts your way, and I do from my heart.
I know the mods had to delete the gofundme or whatever but if you message me the link I shall donate what I can, I know how much funerals cost.
A friend was struggling with a funeral recently and somebody anonymous paid for the lot.
Finances are just practical things but they compound the overwhelming stress of the grief you must be feeling. I only wish there was a gofundme for broken hearts.

my family and i went through the same my lad was 24 he left a beautiful 3 yr old boy who's grown to be a really awsome lad it helps with the heart ache which never really leaves leaves you my heart is with you

In times of loss it's best to remember. once your ready, never think of that 1 tragic day again. spend your years remembering the thousands of good days. you and your family are in my prayers. and again be strong in his honor

I am so damn sorry that you have to go through this.
Parents, please talk to your children. Let them know you are their to help get them through anything and everything.
I talk to my kids almost weekly in this regard.
Even though they aren’t going through anything on the outside, like Gazrok says, they could be putting up a facade and deeply troubled inside.
All it takes is a few minutes of your time, to help prevent a lifetime of pain.

ketsuko - its times like these when I feel more connected to my ATS family than the "other world" out there.

As someone who lives with family that suffer depression its hard to get my head around that everyday that they are here is a special day. When the "demons" of depression are at bay.

As you say the loss of the most precious joys of this world.

The tears well up.
