She's gonna totally ignore that and focus on you referencing Obama, whom you're not supposed to since you're against him politically.

Soros money backing an attempt to destroy a man for things that may or may not have happened when he was still a teen is quite interesting if you think about it.

Soros at that age.

I think that's a fake image. We should refrain from spreading fake news.

It was an attempt to make a point. See my next post.

I was trying to make the point Soros has been falsely accused himself and it's sad he would put money towards destroying a man with something he likely knows may not be true.

I put a link to my second post in the first, just in case.

I just hope no one was duped by your post. We've seen some pretty bad behavior as a result of false accusations.

Edit: Point taken. Thanks for appending your post.

No problem, it was me who messed up.

I don't know about everyone else but this new politics of personal destruction is getting to me. No side is innocent these days.

The answer is not in shaming people like Soros, who lord knows deserves it. I think the solution is in getting big money out of politics entirely. I can't help but think if you take the huge sums of money out of the equation, things would calm down quite a bit. No more money, the loon's stay home and scream at their TV's and radio's.

That's one mess of a spreadsheet.

Compilations of data need to be coherent and organized in order for anyone to make use of them.

If this is the best they can do in order to make a case it's really no wonder why/how this dude is getting away with it.

The only problem with that is we'd have to impede another's freedom in order to do so, make more laws, regulation, bureaucracy etc. I believe Soros and the like should be allowed to waste their money as much as they want. Rather I think it's easier, and in everyone's best interest, to learn to defend themselves from political influence through simple education and critical thought.

I'm not sure if journalists are trained in how to make a coherent spreadsheet. But that's good advice, I suppose.

To me it gives too few people too much power.

I'd think if they wanted to they could come up with a way to take money out of politics and open it up to more people who may not have the backing financially.

Hosting political ads for free and giving equal time should be a price the media pays for using our airwaves. That's one way it could change.

I wish for too much, I know.

Yeah, it's like you need to be rich or a lifelong politico to get your foot in the door. I hope people are becoming more and more cognizant of the swampiness of politics and demand more from their representatives and politicians. I mean, we always have the vote, assuming that hasn't been corrupted yet. That's our only power.

ah yes, the unlimited fortune of Soros... one would ask, how does a billionaire keeps flushing millions upon millions in some sort of agenda against conservatives (I think....no one here knows much of Soros..) yet, not one Republican or similarly rich conservative can shed some light into his funding schemes.

no one can seem to define if its legal or illegal either...

just go through the motions...

Papa Koch was a suspect in the JFK assassination, and the apple doesn't fall that far from the tree. To be fair though I don't think that either of the Koch brothers have the balls to do anything to that level.

When we talk about extremism, we should look both to the radical
left and to the radical right.
It is quite obvious to me that the radical left is attempting to throw a
smoke-screen around its own activities by slanderously charging all conservatives
with extremist views.
While the Republican Party has been exhorted to repudiate radicals who
do not speak for and who do not lead or influence the Party, the Democratic National
Committee has helped finance and promote the Group Research, Inc. smear list which
includes such noted Americans as former President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Some leftist-oriented Democratic groups in this country have urged unrealistic
disarmament, concessions to Moscow and Peiping, withdrawal from Vietnam
and recognition of Red China. These groups on the radical left are guilty of
extremism of the most dangerous variety-- extremism which challenges American
foreign policy and may cost American lives by encouraging Communists to
greater aggression.
One of my major concerns in the matter of extremism of the radical right
is that honest, patriotic and conscientious conservatives may be misjudged because
of irresponsible radicals such as Robert Welch, who has accused General Eisenhower
of being " a dedicated, conscious agent of the Communist conspiracy.

From the National Archives

Robert Welch was a founding member of the John Birch Society, as was Fred Koch (you know Chuck and Dave's dad). The John Birch Society was a suspect during the JFK assassination investigation:
