You're right - it's hard to give a $hit anymore. The MSM, social media, the screeching, the left extreme wingnuts have driven many of us to give up hope ON THEM. I haven't given up hope on our country because there are great things happening. But what the left thinks, or thinks what we should think - their trivial $hit is falling off my radar.

I've decided to take a step back from this overall $hitshow. I feel as though they are trying to drag us through the mud with them because they don't want a respectful conversation or debate, and so I'm attempting to spend more time away from the clickbait and reactionary headlines that run across the outlets I frequent.

That doesn't mean I'll be less active, just that I'll be more selective.

On my social media accounts I have elected to showcase more science and technology related stories rather than focusing on politics.

I tend to get hopeful and optimistic reading stories about innovation and discovery vs. political stories that make me feel like the end might really be nigh.

That "reporter" did everything in her power to ensure the desired CNN narrative was confirmed, didn't she?

Never really liked the guy much. But lately it's like a huge weight has been lifted off of his shoulders and he LITERALLY doesn't give a # anymore.

He even said so to CNN:

This is the point where I think many of us have come to. We just don't give a # anymore. The smears, the fake news, the false narratives, the manufactured outrage, and the kowtowing to socialists like that moron Ocasio-Cortez. It's hard to care what CNN and the left think when all they want to do is screech like autistic banshees, tell me and others what we can say or what we should think, shout "racist" and "sexist" for lack of an argument.

Yeah...Giving a # is a little hard to do with regard to what leftists think. Everything is one made up dramatic crisis after another. I'm sick of it. So is America in general.

So if you have a problem with me supporting President Trump while he tries to make this country and the world a better place, well I don't give a #.

I stated in a another thread that if Graham, who I used to despise before the Kav hearing, keeps this backbone he finally grew, I'd like to see him as president after Trump's second term is finished. I'm pretty impressed with him lately.

From despising to hoping for a presidential run in just a few weeks of pandering.

nice.

You missed the ". . .if he keeps this backbone that he grew. . ." part.

No, I didn't.

He's been caught pandering, that is a huge strike for a politician.

I could see Gowdy doing way better at a debate than Graham.

Ummm...yeah...but...what about those of us that didn't give a # before any of this...#...

And those who...could give two #s...

Beyond that If you don't give a #...does that mean...it's because your down a quart...or your completely #less...?

These are puzzling concepts my friend...I'm thinking there should be a study...with double blind trials...
I mean...a budget of ten million aught to be able to handle such a quandary...

Then...perhaps...we might be able to accurately gauge who actually...gives a #...

In fairness, he's talking about something 6 years down the road. Plenty of time to see if Lindsey is comfortable in his new skin, ya?

Would he be the first lgbtq candidate?

if he was gay, would that change things for you?

Lindsey Graham for president? That seems insane to me. He was one of the founding members is the gang of eight pro amnesty group. Do you really want to put an avowed globalist in behind Trump? Lindsey is a political shape shifter. He will morph into anything he needs to in order to move up the food chain. This guy gives one good, well acted speech and we are ready to turn the reigns over to him? That is insane. I don't care how big his pair get. That will never change the fact that he is a globalist to the bone. Please do your research on this guy.

Regarding Trey Gowdy, I've always liked him. Graham would have to be like this for a long time though, if he could prove it, he could get my vote. Gowdy, on the other hand, would have my vote before Graham. He's always been no-nonsense.

I highly doubt it's gonna happen anyways, but if it did, we'd have 6 years to process him from this point forward.

Why? Because he yelled loudly? HAHA. Great reasoning for electing a President.

...a better reason than the fake Spartacus moment of Cory Booker..."OOOO look at me, aren't I a tough guy, releasing documents that were already cleared and pretending to be a rebel".

It's all a show.

well if you're gonna flippantly thrown in those that could give two $hits, then perhaps we do need a trial of the double-blind sort which can likely be done for a cool million. just saved 9 million bucks - i should be an economic adviser

wait...nah - i think it's safe to assume no one gives a $hit anymore.

$tudy concluded early!!!!!!!

Nope, 15th President, James Buchanan...according to the word on the street at the time. But it wasn’t as big of a deal as it was in the late 20th century.
