Refusing to see the uniparty? No.

Refusing to accept that up is down however, that I can be accused of. Again and for the thousandth time at least, if what you wind up with is a small number of people having all the power and wealth, no matter how its advertised, how its dressed up, no matter what it calls itself, there were no left wingers involved, period.

What a load of garbage.

Lately I've noticed people really ramping up the cries about "the left", tell me, who was the last true liberal they ran? Bernie Sanders, and we know what they did to him.

They won't even acknowledge this.
There were a lot of people that got burned by the dems on that one.
Sanders would have beaten trump.

Unlikely that The Bern beats Trump. No way that limp wristed milquetoast wins. All Trump would have to do to win is 3 things. 1) show the clip of Bernie getting run off his own stage by 2 shrill black women. 2) highlight that Bernie never had a job till he was 40. 3) Publicize the fact that Bernie spent his honeymoon in Russia at a Communist kibbutz. And highlight the fact that Bernie was so lazy that they forced him out.

No way in hell Bernie would've won.

And if he did? America would have been toast at this time in his presidency. Bernie the 3 mansion owning, multi-millionaire fake Socialist is a low life dirtbag that shouldn't even be in government much less running the country.

He is the very definition of a useless government leech.

He would have made Jimmy Carter look like Churchill.

Whatever you say....
The votes hillary lost because they stayed home would have shown up for bernie.
The anyone but hillary votes would not have exclusively gone to trump.
Pretend all you like, but bernie would have mopped the floor with trump.

As to the state of the country, I do not disagree with your description.

I agree. He was one of very few politicians that believed in his platform, and that was evident by the fact that he spoke of it rather than resorting to personal attacks on his opponents (for the most part).

I didn't agree with much of his ideas, but I think he was genuine, and the parts I disliked would have probably been blocked.

There is no contrast in politics, and if there is, they are politely silenced by both parties. (Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders).

He isn't genuine. He's a fraud through and through. A Communist and a lazy piece of garbage that's never worked a job. Never built anything. Never created anything. IMO, he's the perfect example of a useless human.

He's the guy that comes around every 3 months, eats your food, smokes your weed and sleeps on your couch for 3 weeks and then bums $50 on his way out the door along with all the smokes he can get away with.

That little wimp couldn't even deal with 2 black women forcing him off the stage. No way he could stand up to Trump.

IMO, he was an even weaker candidate than Hilary was. He would have got absolutely lit up.

You're arguing like I said I supported Bernie, rather than I made an oberservation that A. He's the most liberal candidate that got as close as he did, and B. he had a good chance to win.

I even said I disagreed with much, if not most of his points.

It's like when Michael Moore said Trump would win and people confused that with him supporting Trump.

The fact is, America proved they wanted an anti-establishment candidate, so much so we should have had one running for each party.

Maybe. You make a few good points.

I personally don't think the American people would have voted him in after he curled up in the fetal position during the debates.

Voting for Hillary is one thing but many people that voted for Hilldog wouldn't have voted for a confirmed Communist and confirmed wimp like the Bern.

We'll never know I guess.

Thank God. Can you imagine having a moron like Bernie dealing with Xi, Putin and Erdogan?

True. But it's more like the US at war with the world. What's your point btw?

Globalism was consolidation of power, not anything beneficial for the masses.

Power & fortune, domination of others, and selling out their own nation for our Elite Masters, and, well, mainly just selling out their own nation for our Elite Masters everyday civilian minions.

I know you don't support Bernie. I've been a daily visitor here for a decade. I know the cut of your jib Shooter.

Merely giving my opinion, sorry if it came across that way. I'm a little irritated because I'm sitting in the office watcching mindless orientation videos for a new Oil Company that we are starting a huge project for next week.

This crap makes me want to stick a pencil in my eye lol. Same garbage I've had to watch for 20 years.

Quite the contrary a "conservative" put us in this place when Reagan ramed neoliberal supply side economics down our throats and broke up the unions. It's been a pay train to the top 1% ever since. Now with Citizens United firmly in place, we are stuck with the oligarchy and the Koch take over of our government.

Neoconservative vs neoliberal vs libertarian, they are all the same stripe "supply side good" what a joke. The fact that most of you here still support this bs is mind blowing. Just look at Kansas if you want to see what dergulation and lowered taxes look like, how many of you want to move to Kansas?

But, ya liberals are rabid dog loony traitors first on the block when the real revolution comes, lets keep this train on the tracks.

Wanna maga? Break up the banks, repel Citizens United, and rebuild the unions. All of those things are required for a strong middle class.

Haha, sorry for misreading that.

And sorry for the orientation videos, at least they aren't a meeting.... Everyone has that one guy, we'll call him "Gary". Gary can't move from topic to topic without raising his hand, turning a 20 minute meeting into an hour.

DAMNIT GARY, HAVE A PRIVATE MEETING WITH THE BOSS!!! Lol, everyone knows the game, we're saying it in the meeting to say we said it, don't be an overachiever.

Back on topic, I have a feeling you're going to dislike whoever fills Bernies shoes. Aside from him not playing ball with the establishment, he was a straight white male trying to be on the left's ticket... and even if you were on the forefront of the civil rights movement, that's not gonna fly bucco.

They aren't going to risk their ace in 2020 IMO. 2024 will be Michelle, Harris, or worse, Cortez.... Calling it now.

Yup. I have been saying all along (well, at least towards the end, when the noise died down) that those throwing such a hissy fit and parroting the believe-her-because-she's-a-woman mentality (or just because they are ideological photocopies of their extremist political string pullers) were ignoring actual reason why there would be a better pick to fill a SCOTUS seat.

The Fourth Amendment issues with Kavanaugh was my main point.

No one listens, because they've been trained to be more worried about the slight chance that Kavanaugh may have done something when he was a teenager 35 years ago than to care about things that actually matter.

So all he did literally was commenting t on how some judges would not agree with the methods??? What of the Patriot act did he actually author, authorize, or have any part of creating. I am still waiting on that.
And dubya did not have Any minions. They belonged to H.W. and Cheney.

Well, there was Gary Johnson. Love him or hate him, he's pretty anti-establishment.

I just hope that sooner than later, the libertarians produce someone more polished as a presidential candidate. I'm pretty sure that Americans would embrace the platform much more than one or the other that are the norms today.

How is that not calling "up" "down?"

Lol, Gary effing Johnson... Just when I thought someone couldn't make me laugh more as a politician than Bush Jr, the libertarians gifted us with Gary.

Ron Paul was the only politician I've ever fully supported, I think he embodied libertarian in a way that could get traction with people of all walks in America.

Agreed about Ron Paul, the problem with him was that he just came across as a whiney old man--Rand Paul got lucky and has a little less-whiney voice, but he unfortunately inherited much of that from his dad, too.

But who knows--maybe Trump is setting the stage for the "need" of a polished candidate to not really be a thing anymore, and people will start looking for the message instead.

Oh, gotcha ... the universal excuse.

It's not that socialism and communism don't work. We just never, ever find the right people to run it.
