Not even remotely. Senate approved. Irregardless of what the President who appointed them may, or may not, have done, or how popular or unpopular they may be.

Once they're approved by the Senate, they're no longer connected in anyway to that President.

If they were, when ever a President left office, his appointed SCJ's would have to go, as well, wouldn't they?

I think Ginsburg died a few years ago and they are reenacting Weekend at Bernie's. Except Bernie looks better...

If Ginsburg becomes too ill to serve, she will not be able to choose when to retire. I'm in my 40s and there are days I can't make it to the grocery store. When you're as old as she is (and obviously, she has just about had it) one day can make all the difference.
