I think cyber drunk is better than real life drunk because we can choose if we want to write in a cyber hangover or not.

Still here! (But not for long!)

We've just put the clocks back last week so it's only 11pm now.

I was watching the end of a movie. (The Others)
I've seen it a few times, quite spooky but I like it!

We put our clocks back this coming weekend.
Isn't that weird? Didn't we used to change our clocks at the same time in the past? Or am I just mistaken?

People are starting to wake up to the fact that the whole clock setting thing twice is year is a huge steaming crock of lies. Hopefully Europe will do away with that stupidity next year...grumble mumble.

Gordi and Light...I agree, it doesn't make much sense to me.
But nothing about life makes sense to me anymore.

Sitting alone here it doesn't even feel like Halloween, and I'm around the back of the house so no kids will even come to my door.
I definitely should have bought myself some candy.

I don't know how other countries did it back in the old days but in England, the further north you went, the time differed from town to town. A ridiculous and uncoordinated system that was based (if memory serves) on how the light was at a certain location. In London, 6 p.m. was not the same time as 6 p.m. in say, Sheffield (some 300 miles-ish more northwards). They did that at that train-stations and switching points. Most peculiar.

Don't feel bad. I'm sure the kids have more than enough candy and sugary goods to keep them hyperactive for a week from your neighbours. Thankfully Halloween in Holland is not really a thing. Yet... I was on the metro/tube/subway last weekend and there were a few adults dressed up as the Dutch tend to celebrate it on a weekend when they don't have to work the next day.
