Just a little share.

I heard this live in Denmark many moons ago. We cried, cheered, held hands, hugged. We knew this was a song that could touch every heart. We are sea faring nation.
Some take the high road, some take the low road.
After the concert I was hoarse for days. We departed knowing we had a once in life time experience, together.
There are many interpritations of the song. One is that fairies transport souls who die in foriegn lands, back home.
BTW that was the only concert I ever attended.

This just entered my mind, a reminder. And a wonderful song from the past.

That's a tough call, man. Too bad you can't get her in a place like this.

That song gets me teary eyed. I always imagined a movie made of the Shed and that song playing as well as other shed songs.

Skid, I loved that video, thank you. So much more I would like to say, but....for a different place.
How are you sweetie, how are the girls are you OK?
When ever you show up I think of, well, how times were different back then and how we cared. Hugs.

I know, it always makes me tear up too. There are so many beautiful songs from the past, showing how we were a family, a big huge jumble of, well, everything. With out distinction between one or the other. We just held each other in respect.

To the beautiful souls of the Shedlands, You are not alone, I've been here the whole time singing you a song. I will carry you.

I know it hurts it's hard to breathe sometimes
These nights are long you've lost the will to fight
Is anybody out there
can you lead me to the light?
Is anybody out there?
tell me it'll all be alright

You are not alone
I've been here the whole time singing you a song
I will carry you
I will carry you

I know you can't remember how to shine
your heart a bird without the wings to fly
Is anybody out there?
Can you take this weight of mine?
Is anybody out there
Can you lead me to the light?

You are not alone
I've been here the whole time singing you a song
I will carry you
I will carry you

You are not alone

You are not alone

I will carry you
I will carry you

I will carry you
I will carry you
Is anybody out there?
I know it hurts, it's hard to breathe sometimes.

Whoa...

Yesterday, in the morning, i got very hungry. So a quick grocery store visit and then when i was back home, i put a kilo of frozen potato-onions mix, 300 grams of kebab slices, cream, black pepper and sea salt to the oven. And i ate it ALL during one single day. Good. I can't lose any more weight or the wind will take me away one day

Wishing you all a fine saturday. Or for the time travellers, a fine friday or sunday. Starting my saturday with coffee now.

...ETA How did that Blondie song end up you were trying? Any good?

It was "Dreaming" by Blondie.
I really like the original song, but am still not sure if it works "folky" for me...
So, I can play it OK, but am not entirely convinced... yet! LOL

You should go to a Scotland football (soccer) match one day....

There are a few Scots lads there who quite enjoy that song too!

The Scottish Rugby fans aren't bad singers either!

That was them singing "Flower of Scotland" which has a famous line about sending the English (army) back home to think again, whilst Scotland were Sending the (Hot favourite) English rugby team home to think again!

I watched it live on TV and was hoarse for 3 days afterwards, my eldest boy was actually at the game and we had to tie a rope to his ankle so he didn't float off into the clouds!!!!! ROFL

What a day.
