Of course Wis! I am getting pretty good a mashed potatoes since my oral surgery, if I do say so myself...



I think my smile has improved however my eyes keep moving back and forth.
(reminds me of Kaelci's shifty eyes!)

I actually had a friend stop by and she spent the afternoon with me. It's been dark/gloomy and pouring rain all day.

I think that the surgery was much needed and I found a thread today about titanium and teeth and bones and such and it scared me to death!

I would not have been a good candidate for implants as I grind my teeth, still smoke UGH and a lot of other factors so...I will be going back in January/February for the rest of my surgeries...

I still say that when I win the lottery (yes I will) that I am going to start a foundation or whatever for folks who can't afford dental work. It is a shame, IMO, that folks can't have the basic things covered like teeth...I mean you HAVE TO EAT for gosh sakes!!!!

You have my complete sympathy girl. My teeth are terrible, the pain has been horrific.
I haven't been able to afford a dentist for a while and now likely need to see an oral surgeon too.
I've been putting it off because I'm terrified, but I can barely eat and it is affecting my health.

I agree with you, people should be able to get their teeth fixed without robbing a bank.

I have a couple of teeth in the back that need work, but ya need to rob a bank! I'm still not sure if in a couple of years when I need my cataract surgery for both eyes, if my medical will cover it. It depends on where it's done. I don't have thousands of dollars.

Well, bad teeth are a great diet regimen LOL. Not really, just trying to find some humor...At the store today I bought some pudding, jello, applesauce, MORE potatoes and yoghurt.
YOU are already so thin so I hope that you are able to find some food.

My brother, when he took his life, left me a little money and I have tried to be wise with it.
The tenant that I inherited is killing me though with this and that but, I suppose it's all part of it. I am just finding my way along.

I remember when I was young, I liked to see how long I went without food (it was a disease) and now that I am older...I want some donuts!!!!!

I eat pretty much what you just listed...all the soft stuff. I did get scary skinny while I was at the shelter but we weren't allowed to have food in our bedrooms.
Now that I'm in my apartment and can snack while laying on the couch watching movies, I've actually put on a few pounds. (Although eating 3 pkgs. of soft cookies over 2 evenings isn't exactly a great diet either, lol).

Sorry to hear about your tenant. I'm not sure what "this and that" is, but would be willing to offer help/suggestions if you want to talk about it...here or in messages.

That makes me sad. I'm pretty sure cataract surgery is covered here by the government. Our health care isn't as great as it used to be, but it's still so much better than the U.S. I wish I could get you over here to have your operations

I will continue to pick up random lottery tickets every now and then because you can't win if you don't play. Then it's free surgeries and donuts for everybody!!
