You know the timezone thing that always gets me? When we've just change from standard to summer time, and in Oz they've just gone the other way. So
I have to remember when to add two hours to the time difference and when not to. Where my Mum lives, she can be 7 1/2 hours ahead of me, or 9 1/2
hours ahead. If I need to make an evening phone, for example, I have to make sure that I don't call at 11pm (when Mum would be asleep) instead of 9pm.
There were times in the past when I got it completely bass ackwards and took eg 9 hours** off
our local time for their time, instead of adding
! So I call at 7 pm on a Saturday evening, thinking it's only 10 am Saturday there, and a sleepy voice answers and asks me why I'm calling
at 4 am on Sunday morning!
ETA: oops I meant 9 1/2
hrs, etc. Keep forgetting that silly half-hour difference!
