That was my evening! Movie sounds like it would have been nice.

Pigging out on pizza. Still here and reading everyone's replies.

Trust me...enjoy the busy...the kids...the making dinner...all of it.
I remember those days.

Now I'm all alone watching a movie I've already seen a dozen times just to distract myself from feeling so alone.

I would give anything to go back and have those busy evenings again.

I hate that so many of Shed family are alone.

Thank you Shep...but I'm not the only Shed member who's on their own now...there are a few of us.
Some people are fine being on their own. I'm just having a hard time adjusting to a situation that I had no control of.

But at least I had all those busy evenings with kids and soccer and ice skating, etc. I have lots of great memories.

Most of the time it does help to be here, even in lurker mode.
It sucks that I can't see anybody's avatars when I use the tablet because in a strange way even seeing the familiar avatars is comforting. (except for people who keep changing their pics lol)

Hi LightSpeed!

Weightlifting. I discovered homebrewing a few years back. That was great for my entertainment. Not so great for my middle.


So, now I try to keep in shape to try to keep Mrs. Shep interested. I run, lift, and do the elliptical when it's too nasty outside for running.

I was changing mine for a while, but am quite attached to this avatar, so I keep switching back.

I hear you. adjusting and making amends with the blows of life is akin to mourning, something we should respect and give quality time. I learned that the hard way. Hugs to you.

I had a nice day until I found out I was supposed to go to work. I was two hours late. UPS. I never work on Tuesdays so I didn't even check.
The Boss man was really nice about it. I love that place.
