Why trust them when you can fight to get the original document free of bias?

FOIA is the only way a House member will be able to see the documents because they were hidden. I guess the right-wing doesnt care about investigations anymore.

Keep investigating if that is what everyone desires... What is it exactly you want to see investigated?

You do realize both sides in the senate have seen the investigation, right?

Simple answer...
Ms. Pelosi really DOESN'T want it made public. She is posturing with false promises for increased turnout in the Midterms.

They don't know what to investigate, but maybe they'll find something once they start investigating.

This isnt about another investigation. This is about a member of the house wanting to see the information. GOP was up in arms when they couldnt see unredacted FISA information but this investigation is being swept under the rug.

Did the FBI even determine what year it happened?

I believe it was 1984, at least four decades ago, when they were college students. They had beach parties and "disco biscuits" or quaaludes were involved.

www.newsweek.com...

By the standards back then, this in turn depends in whether they were taken with consent, or were slipped into their drinks, and whether the women know they would be slipped into their drinks at these parties, and whether they had any social choice to attend or not attend these parties.

Now, it's right on the cliff edge of legality.

Similar situation in the UK was when some young radio DJ's though that their darkened sound rooms were their personal man caves and could touch up any young women who entered. The rule was common knowledge, so items were just left outside by women. But by modern standards, female employees have the right to move around a workplaces without harassment.

Okay. *shrugs*

4 decades ago. He said/she said.

Politics has turned even uglier than it used to be.

So be it.

Pelosi is into child porn. Just speculating mind you, I personally don't believe it.

But there should be an investigation.

Why should they see it outside of some political hype? 40+ Democratic Senators saw it most likely...lol Be careful what you wish for...it wasn't leaked (surprise surprise) so I don't think the democrats really want it out in the open...

Plus this from mediate:

Protesters stormed the stairs of the Supreme Court on Saturday to protest the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

“Hey Hey, Ho, Ho, Kavanaugh has got to go,” they shouted.

If you can't win at the ballot box and in the legislature, I guess rioting and Storming the gates is your only option.

Democrats must be really proud of the leaders.

I for one, can't thank Harry Reid enough.

People really have to come out and vote to really crush the Democratic Party. Maybe then they will get the message.

Or the House wants to know whats going on with the New supreme court judge since they are not part of the process.

You mean like the House which hasnt been part of the process ever and now they get to bastardize the process too.

What do you mean "free of bias"?

I thought the whole point now was that even though Democrats got the investigation they were crying about ever since bringing this up at the 11th hour instead of getting the investigation they said they wanted when the procedure of the committee would have allowed for the investigation they said they wanted (confused yet?), that investigation now isn't any good because of Trump being in the White House and because they couldn't personally oversee it ... or something.

And because it was finished *before* the midterms.

There is rational, principled resistance, and there is whatever this is.

It occurs to me that the children you see on those Super Nanny shows are waging a resistance to "The Man" in their households too, but for some reason, most rational people don't sympathize with them.

Every person has their personal bias. Which is why source documents are so important.

Think of the game telephone. One person says one thing to the next and so on until what is at the end isnt the same as the start.

Feinstein says to keep it under wraps but Schumer wants it out. DiFi is nervous about the content. I predict that the GOP holds off releasing it until the Dems beg for it and then let it provide an October surprise. The third week in October should do the trick. This may lead to DiFi's retirement.

Cool neither of those people are members of the House, who didnt have access to the information.

That is correct. Pelosi is either playing along with Schumer to squeeze DiFi or she is just annoyed that she hasn't been noticed recently and wants a little air time. I'm betting on the latter unless she is angling for the Senate if DiFi suddenly retires. I suspect that the content of the FBI investigation may implicate DiFi. The GOP wins either way as exposition may do in DiFi and if it does remain under wraps, it can be used to put a leash on her. This next month will certainly be interesting.
