Lol, OP asks for people who dabble in the mystical arts to come out, and they flocked.

Well. It got you here also. Now what?

Those who worship a magician who supposedly walked on water and multiplied things, cast spells on people to 'heal' them, and didn't even die.

That the priveledges of, you know, being God. It's all his playground.

I dabbled when I was younger. And now I strenuously tell others not to.

Why?

Well I think its realistic to consider that someone on ATS must be a witch and practice black magic.
Please tell us some of your wicket stories, amuse us morsels.

Both my ex's are witches.....but they aren't members here...

I dated a woman who claimed to be a witch once. I believe her.

Me too....one a white or "good" Wiccan....the other a self proclaimed Satanist who burns appropriate color candles placed on window-sills after casting spells..I stay clear of her....she is highly negative....

The other is a wiccan walking in the light..,.and another friend is a Native American Shaman I've know for years...

Yeah. I don't even know what kind of witch my ex was, but my life got turned upside down in the experience. Is there a name for that kind?

Yes, there is one...and it rhymes with Witch......"__tch"

A veil was on her face when she was born. According to her.
I don't even know what she meant by that, but it wasn't a good vibe.

I didn’t see the OP ask to be turned to Christ, technically all this realigous mumbo should be removed to prevent thread drift. It’s all off topic.
no one asked for your pamphlets here.

What do you mean? Do you not consider Christianity to be part of the ocult? Or do you believe it is seperate.

Why does it bother you if you think so little of it.

Witches wear red wrist bands don't they?.

First I thought you are wrong and that the red wrist band is a Buddhist practice to signal about your family status, but actually it is for protection

In Buddhism, the color red holds tremendous significance. It is a symbol that impacts one’s life and sustenance of the same. It takes care of the life force and compassion. Red also represents fearlessness, courage and bravery. It rules the tongue portion of the body. Wearing the red string is a reminder that one must show compassion to all. One must be mindful of the tongue, for the tongue can cut deeper than the sword. It can be worn on either wrists, however I generally wear it on my left wrist. Often, I will gift it to friends and loved ones in hopes of expressing love, wishes of good luck, and protection.

Then I thought you might be right, it does seem part of American Folklore

I have the sense that the Red Thread is one of the deeper Mysteries of the Craft as we are coming to know it. This sense is based on the fact that both Glaux and I find ourselves referring to it regularly in symbolic ways and during Craft discussions, but I am having difficulty putting my thoughts together in any coherent manner in this blog entry. The fact that we are able to point to the symbol as a deep point of connection for our magic, but verbalization seems to fail on some level, tells me that "here be a grave Mystery." Perhaps in order to approach the Mystery, we should only look at one aspect of it in this post. The Red Thread and the Initiatory Process. The "Red Thread" is the moniker we use to refer to the line of Witch Blood that connects us to Tubal Qayin. A few of us come to this Tradition with ties to Qayin, bonds or possibly even Witch Marks that we reinforce through charms or the process of admission into a curveen. Many create that link through specific ritual.

In any case I hope you did not mix up the red wrist band with red high heeled shoes
Because I am not not not a witch !!

I believe it to be separate from the black arts and witches yes.

Separate from the occult? No. He is asking about witch and Wicken experiences not about burning them on cross.

Only bothered by you glosssing over the OP’s question, not by your faith.

No,

That is why you need Salvation through Christ.

Sorry but the whole story is about YOU saving YOURSELF by learning your true powers. And Jesus was a "magician". I thought even the bastardized versions of the Bible explain that much..

If no one comes forward to admit they are a witch we can accuse someone of it, we don't need any corroborating evidence any more and if we go to the University of Washington, we can make the accusations anonymously.

I know what the "veil"-cowl (skin flap) over a newborn's face means. They were born with gift of "Second Sight" .ie: will be psychic w abilities.

No relation directly or otherwise to witchcraft

The Messiah was not a magician,He was God in flesh! I feel sorry
for those that are deeply involved with witchcraft and the occult.
You need to get out of these things and turn to God before it is
too late.Yeshua/Jesus is coming back soon, very soon!
