Happy Thanksgiving to all - in Canada

It’s that wonderful time of the year again.
The turkey is in the roaster, god it smells good...
The honey ham is glazed and finishing up.
Turnip, sweet potato, and regular potatoes are about to be boiled and baked.
The pumpkin and apple pies are done and waiting for desert.
Deviled eggs, beats, 4 cheeses, pickles and beats are in the platter with crackers.
Tiny onions in the ready to be added to the gravey, and fresh croissants are in the oven,
Dinner in 1 hour.
Our guests are about to arrive. The wife in the kitchen and our 3 kids haven’t been allowed to snack since breakfast, let alone step in the kitchen.

It’s a family tradition in our house to watch Rocky every Thanksgiving.
Soon I’ll be pressing play to watch Rocky and Apollo slug it out for 11th year in a row.
The weather is nice, the dog is asleep in the hallway.
Tired from hoping to catch a glimpse of something falling to floor for him to lap up.

We usually do it on the Sunday, but today was the only day we could get everyone together.

Here it is Columbus Day. we are having Autumnfest with a festival, food, crafts and entertainment. I can't go though.

We will be having our Thanksgiving in November which I am looking forward to.
