Well, it doesn't surprise me that the Leftists don't see this as their country. This is America and they want to live in Europe. I think they need to just move to one of the more socialist countries without the Bill of Rights so they feel more 'at home' rather than trying to change our country into just another socialist hell-hole.

There are already plenty of places that have socialism and censorship. Let's keep America free and one of a kind...a place where individual liberty is placed above a dystopian society.

You are spot on with that statement! I only have one country to claim as my own and I am thankful it is the good ole USA! I'll be damned if I sit back and allow these Marxists to destroy my homeland when they can easily GTFO!

The op has been posting about the vote and the protests. That the legitimacy of the court is being rejected.

And that it is getting ugly out there.
Well guess what, it is always been ugly. Government makes an unpopular decision, or the court rules one way or the other, and guess what, the public gets riled up. From all accounts, this is normal and has to run its course, it is the only way for the government to reset. And when it happens the country calms down until the next issue that comes up.

Even this past election, it was there: Taking back our Country, making the country great again.

That propaganda was pure gold, using fear to sell a bad message to the population. But the problem is that once that message is out, like any door opened, it can and will be exploited.

This was bound to happen and ultimately it is a mess that was created in DC, by the politicians for the benefit of we the people. We paid for this show, even kept the primary participants in office to play out. Face it, personal interest, greed and fear is what was sold and now we are dealing with the outcome.

Don't really disagree with your post. Except one variable is significantly different from the past...a broken national media and the emergence of social media.

This is definitely all new stuff imo.

You are witnessing a perfect example of the r-selections and how they react when K-selections restore order.

Like I said earlier, they are setting up a justification to go against the Constitution.

Ban guns and the Supreme Court says, "No"? Well, the SC isn't legitimate, so they can do whatever they want!

1 billion guns in the hands of the people and it isn't the left that has them lol...

OK I'm kind of joking, but we all need to realize that the average working class American is not apart of this and i'm saying 330 million or so. 500 protesting in Portland ..give me a break. Obama had more 99%ers than that protesting and this crowd is the same people ...

I've been watching the empty heads on most of the networks discussing the impending Kavanaugh vote and the associated protests.

A theme I am starting to see emerge is the one where now, in advance of any actual action by SCOTUS, the legitimacy of the court is being explicitly rejected.

Is it an overreaction to think we are headed into a potentially very dangerous period of our history?

I can't recall a time in my life where so many openly rejected the entirety of our government.

Crazy, crazy times.

LOAM....I've been saying that all along. I've never seen a President and his " flavor of the week" approved good choice for any jobs...We'll see...

Whatever happened to running the government? Instead of running those who represent it into the ground. Never seen it this bad....

Sadly, I think a lot of this is Soros funded.

Even sadder is the Democrat Party seems to have found
a new fundraising cry...that of "impeachment".

If they can't rig an election and win then they can
raise money off of the left over anger.

How pathetic!

That was tried before. At the founding of the nation, as well as the civil war. I would be surprised if it worked the third time.

When it comes to " Civil War " The U.S. is a newbie. You have only had two.

England on the other hand has had 13. You have a long way to catch up.

It's not really comparable, though.

How long would it take for 4200 pickup-truck loads of pissed-off, ridiculously overarmed Rednecks to march from coast to coast in England?

Where would they even park?
