Except they weren't denying Kavanugh of anything... They don't possess the authority to do that.

They were simply using their 1st amendment right to protest against his nomination.

Then they got arrested for it.

That's right.

Neither dumb snip congress or the Schumers have the right to protest and VIOLATE the 6th amendment.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Having read through the comments, and looked at the details of what happened the following can be stated:

For everything, there is a time and a place. Protesting is perfectly legal, and has been used in the past to bring forth attention to an injustice, or even a problem that should be looked at. However there are a few things that is not acceptable, either the place, such as inside of the congress, or where it starts to do damage, or even where it causes far more problems, like the occupy protests, where it left a sheer volume of trash.

In this case, the protesting was ok, but never in the halls of the congress, should have been where all other protests are held, outside of the building. I am surprised that it was so few. And a good chance that there will be a court case, that results in either a low fine or let off, as it is considered a form of speech.

I love your logic.

Amy Schumer also has a 2nd Amendment right.

So you think she can shoot Kavanaugh.

No, she and many 100's of others were arrested for breaching a cordoned off area and security fence on the steps leading to the entrance of the Hart building. Once forced entry was obtained through the security fence they began protesting inside the building itself.

Only then was she arrested, many reports state that were her goal on the first place...goal achieved.

Martin Luther King Jr broke the law while protesting — more than once, and got arrested.

What kind of insults you gonna throw his way? He was nappy headed?

Baker, who had close ties to former FBI director James Comey, was provided information on alleged “Russian hacking” by flagrantly partisan DNC lawyer Michael Sussmann, Fox News reported. Sussmann’s law firm, Perkins Coie, played a key role in the production of the infamous and discredited Trump Dossier put together by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm hired by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, funded Steele’s sleazy dossier.

Clinton should be in prison

Perkins Coie is counsel of record for the Democratic National Committee, Democratic Leadership Council, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Other political clients include nearly all Democratic members of the United States Congress. It has also represented several presidential campaigns, including those of John Kerry,[2] Barack Obama,[3] and Hillary Clinton.[2]
