This is a nice reach around, but ultimately Flake has to vote Yes!

No...Flake may choose to ride off into the sunset like McCain did... giving Trump "the finger".

My guess? Since we’re now seeing Flake (R) and Coons (D) together constantly, there will be (or try to be) a Flake/Coons ticket in 2020...both thinking they can’t possibly lose by pulling votes from both the R and D sides (from folks easily bamboozled).

Now they're scrambling for the 4am dispatches.

💥😃💥

You know what the DIMS will say..."It's Trumps FBI! He forced them to do his bidding, jut like Obama did!"

Or they'll just claim that the White House opinion doesn't count because ... Trump. Since they've already decided Trump is a serial rapist too. It won't count.

The FBI have better things to do than to accommodate St. Christine of the Ford.

She can only be interviewed on even months, second Tuesdays, and only if the moon is in its proper phase.

This is what I predict Flakey Flake will do. There must be something in the water out here in the desert of Arizona......takes the balls off the politicians....

Is anyone really surprised there isn't anything in this report if this is true?

Given the way the narrative has shifted from "Brett 'Rapey McRapist' Kavanaugh" to Brett "Too Angry" Kavanaugh over the past few days, no one should be surprised.

I dont think this will happen. Kavanaugh is more a Republican issue than a Trump issue. Unless Flake is pissed at all his fellow party members this would not be the right one too give Trump "the finger" on; it hurts then just as much if not more than it hurts Trump singularly.

Odd that the White House, the people that want Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court more then anything, have found no wrong doing after directing exactly what the FBI can investigate. Almost seems like it was all a dog and pony show for the GOP to say "SEE WE DID THE THING AND FOUND NOTHING!".

It's not going to be over for a long time even if they seat him. The dims will not give up that easy.

Problem is, like China and the trade war, they're losing and running severly on fumes.

Sorry, but they've ran that gas light as far as that engine can chug.

All the leftists on here know they got played. We told them the FBI investigation would be useless. If she wanted a real investigation she'd file charges in Maryland. This was all so the Dem senators could delay and grandstand. Backfiring on them badly. Anyone with a brain sees right through this. It's gonna cost them votes with independents. Way to go.

Just curious how all our left-wing members feel about being lied to?

Grassley: With FBI Work Complete, It’s Time to Vote

“I’ve now received a committee staff briefing on the FBI’s supplement to Judge Kavanaugh’s background investigation file. There’s nothing in it that we didn’t already know. These uncorroborated accusations have been unequivocally and repeatedly rejected by Judge Kavanaugh, and neither the Judiciary Committee nor the FBI could locate any third parties who can attest to any of the allegations. There’s also no contemporaneous evidence. This investigation found no hint of misconduct and the same is true of the six prior FBI background investigations conducted during Judge Kavanaugh’s 25 years of public service.

“I trust that the career agents of the FBI have done their work independent of political or partisan considerations. That’s exactly what senators from both sides asked for. Now it’s up to senators to fulfill their constitutional duty and make a judgment.

“No one is on trial and the Senate is not a courtroom. But our nation’s tradition of fairness still applies. A presumption of innocence is how the American justice system works, and it should remain our guidepost in the Senate. Abandoning that principle would cut a sad path for the Senate as an institution.

“Here is what we know: Judge Kavanaugh’s former clerks, colleagues and friends from high school to the present acclaim his personal integrity and character. His neighbors and community members recognize his positive contributions to their schools and churches. And his fellow members of the legal profession know him to be a thoughtful and respectful jurist. His judicial record shows that he is fair and rules impartially and without prejudice.

“Fundamentally, we senators ought to wipe away the muck from all the mudslinging and politics and look at this nomination with clear eyes. Judge Kavanaugh is one of the most qualified nominees to ever come before the Senate. He’s served with distinction for twelve years on the nation’s most important circuit court and dedicated himself to serving the American public. We know that he will be an excellent justice because he’s been an excellent judge.

“It’s time to vote. I’ll be voting to confirm Judge Kavanaugh.”

Another Grassley Statement

Grassley is smart. In this statement he uses the Dem Senators' own words regarding a week being all that is needed for this investigation. Now Dems are saying this was not long enough.

It's becoming more and more obvious as each hour goes by. Those that steadfastly refuse to see the truth are obviously in it for their own reason!

Or are woefully inept at critical thinking.

I'd bet that's the bigger problem over selfish ambitions.

My favorite part right now is that the Democrats are realizing he's going to be confirmed, and their attempted political assassination of him won't exactly be incentive for him to rule cases in their favor. I'd like to think he'll be completely impartial, and he may try very hard to be, but human nature is human nature. Some animus may creep in, even if it's just subconsciously. They only have themselves to blame.

They're basically trying to argue that because they treated him like #, he can't be trusted. Sorry, not good enough. They decided this was the hill to die on. It didn't work.

WASHINGTON—The White House has found no corroboration of the allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh after examining interview reports from the FBI’s latest probe into the judge’s background, according to people familiar with the matter.

It was unclear whether the White House, which for weeks has raised doubts about the allegations, had finalized its review of the FBI interview reports. Officials were expected to be sending the FBI report to the Senate Judiciary Committee later Wednesday.

Its a big day alright, more news dropping!

www.wsj.com...

Its nearly 1am in the US and i cant wait to get home tonight, turn on the news, pour me some drinks and watch it all go down!

Kavanaugh did not sexually assault anyone, these claims were false and the media collaborated with the DNC to orchestrate this fake outrage.

It's becoming more and more obvious as each hour goes by. Those that steadfastly refuse to see the truth are obviously in it for their own reason!

So they will now tell us the fbi didn't do their job. You know after 7 investigations.
It was all just a delay tactic even though the outcome is inevitable as the gop has the votes.

They wanted this investigation to go like the Special Counsel investigation. Keep hunting and looking into everyone he knows to find something, anything, to use against him.

You know - witch hunt = Democrat strategy

Their scorched earth win at all costs strategy will cost them seats next month.
I guess the dnc has to hit absolute rock bottom before any kind of reforms will be called for.

After they've spent the last 2 years telling us you can't question any of the federal agencies.
