I think the Southern Democrat voting pockets will be "stay away" Democrats.

They've seen too much Democrat BS for their taste.

I don't personally know a single Democrat who's abandoned the party. I can't say the same about Republicans.

I know of no fewer than 6 members on this site who I have historically butted heads with over politics who have fled the Democrats over the past week's shenanigans. Don't know a single GOP voter who has bailed, though...

Our neighbors hate Trump, but he admitted to me yesterday that he'll be forced to vote Republican because the Democrats have become extremists.

Irrational is putting it lightly.

I have never seen such a naive and liberal minded group.

Conserve your money
Conserve your sexuality

Do not be liberal with those things

Speaking of BS, there's more if it from Diane Feinstein today. She wants the final FBI Report on Kavanaugh/Ford to be kept PRIVATE.

twitter.com...

Maybe this THOROUGH/EXPANDED report demanded by DIMS will implicate her? No way! haha.

Their one and only reason would be "Stop Trump" or something to that effect.

That's not even the half of it... I'm under no false pretenses that the majority of those hundreds of thousands (if not millions) who are #WalkingAway from the Democrats will turn and vote for Republicans. Many won't, but they're removing their votes and support from the vile Democrat party, which is an outstanding victory for common sense in this country at a time where we seem to need it the most.

Look at the dates on those polls.

That information is mostly pre Kavanaugh hearing / fake accusations.

Without a doubt the Kavanaugh BS has strengthened the Republican's. Recent polls show that.

How do you televise the hearings, call for the fbi to investigate claims made at the hearing then hide the findings?
Perhaps because the finding are not in your favor?
guess she does not believe in FOIA?

Don't believe for a second that the Democrats won't cheat on a massive scale.
We've now seen, out in the open, the depths they are prepared to sink to in order to gain power.
It makes massive voter fraud accusations far more believable.
That Democrats continue to resist even an investigation into voter fraud speaks volumes.

It just like the Russia investigation. They claim since you can't see the evidence collected by the investigation they are correct about their claims, despite dozens of pieces of info that have come out invalidating the charges.

The sad thing is most of the Democratic voters seem stupid enough they believe that kind of excuse, or are immoral enough they don't care whether he is guilty or not. So this doesn't really surprise me.

All they have to do is say they have seen the results and Kavanaugh is unfit - regardless of whether it is true or not. Feinstein has already proven she is willing to hide info, and mislead to stop the nomination.

Democrats are the people supporting Pelosi, Waters, Feinstein, Blumenthal, Booker etc. Anybody stupid enough to vote for one of those morons / con artists / dementia sufferers is obviously stupid enough to believe anything or support anything for their party to win.

Polls from the past few days show a slight movement towards the Republicans. Dems still have almost an 80% chance to take the House and 30% to take the Senate.

So nothing has really changed since last week when the Dems had some of their best polling since the beginning of the year.

President Trump's party should prepare itself for an exceptionally difficult midterm election

You could be right.
Just saw Trump's approval rating is at 48% and the stated cause is the economy.

My point is that its unwise to extrapolate a Red wave from the data. Its appearing to be unlikely that the Republicans can hold the House and its quite possible they could lose control of the Senate. One reason some of the Republicans are not looking too good in the mid-terms is because the tide is turning against Rino's.

The real problem is, that just as in any election, its all about turnout. The Republican "core" can be counted upon to turnout regardless. To overcome that, the Dems have to maximize their turnout and in order to do that, they have to galvanize their base to action and I"m seeing quite a bit of enthusiasm in the Democrat camp and particularly for the younger Democrat candidates who hit on the social justice issues and socialist economic policies.
