Swetnick claim now falling apart...

What kind of leave it to beaver parties were these in the 80s? I went to a boat load of parts in the 80s as I was often bringing the booger sugar and weed. (Missed 2 weeks of school when my bud Steve's mom went to Hawaii on Vacation for 2 weeks and left him home alone to be an adult..... That two weeks could be a post of it's own) Rich kid parties and in the ghetto. Never ever in my life saw a punch bowl. I saw a lot of California Coolers 2 liter bottles, Zimas, canned beer, malt liquor 40s (anyone else remember Crazy Horse malt liquor beer in 40s?) cheap liquor and very basic mixes. Can't recall always seeing Solo cups back then since they really weren't the thing. We used what was in the cupboards or fast food cups. Hell even the parties we went to where Mom and Dad we're cool and hung with us never a single punch bowl.
I don't believe a single thing she is saying.....

On another note..... If she now admits to seeing multiple gang rapes at parties and never reported them.... Wouldn't that be a problem for a security clearance?

Yesterday, in an interview with Kate Snow of NBC News, Ms. Swetnick backtracked on some of the claims she made in a sworn statement to Congress. The interview can be accessed here: link .

Also, this is a fair question. After all, they said that they wanted the FBI investigation to help them decide.

In addition, as it stands today, the FBI is conducting a supplemental background investigation of current credible allegations against the nominee. The report is expected this week. This supplemental investigation was requested by undecided members of both parties to help them determine whether to support Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation. Am I to understand from your request that all of you are reconsidering your opposition to Judge Kavanaugh depending on what the FBI comes back with?

To be honest, I don't think that this witness is either positive or negative for BK.

Definitely positive, I think. She is labelled as a clear opportunist, and dealing with mental issues, both of which kind of explain her entire allegation. The interview she did is certainly a killer, though.

Note also that Democrat Senators also declined to talk about her 'rape train' allegations - luckily for them as she has since retracted them.
Now we know that Dr Ford is a liar too, any investigation needs to focus on who was behind this smear campaign - which can be done in parallel to voting on Kavanaugh.

I believe Feinstein and maybe one other made reference to it.

This article has some more information about Swetnick's past troubles.

It says she lied in a lawsuit after falling and breaking her nose, claiming that she lost $420,000 in earnings because she was working as a model for a certain person. But that person said she never worked for him.

It also reports a bit more about that employer who sued her:

As The Daily Caller News Foundation first reported on Friday, Swetnick was accused by a former employer of engaging in “unwelcome, sexually suggestive conduct” in meetings with male colleagues.

The company, Webtrends, also claimed in a November 2000 lawsuit that Swetnick lied on her resume by falsely claiming that she had a degree from Johns Hopkins University.
