Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, told a reporter it was "it's too early to say" if Ford is credible.
"I don't think she's uncredible. I think she an attractive, good witness," he said. Asked what he meant, the senator said, "In other words, she's pleasing."


So does that mean that he believes she could have been raped (attempted) because she is both attractive and pleasing?
What if she was ugly, would he not believe it.

I am hoping this is being taken out of context and he meant that she is poised and formulating intelligent, detailed responses. God, I hope.

I read it and re-read it, the part where he says "attractive" and "pleasing" is what kills me.

Nope, not at all. SHe had that slight constant crackle in her voice. A forced calm. I do it all the time when I am trying to be on auto pilot on a conference call and want to keep my real emotions at bay.

Then she also reverted at times to a "little girl" voice that was annoying. Save that for your husband - jeez how old are you lady?
Finally I found her physically unpleasing. Especially her eyes. They were too close to eachother providing her with a strange goose look that may be attractive at a local pond but not in my gaze.

So, totally unpleasing. In all ways.
