I think it’s always important to give credit where credit is due. I think that if you just blindly hate on an individual or a particular issue without recognising that at times the other side might have a good point or deserve some merit you actually just undermine your own position. Which is why I have to say that there is something that I really admire Trump for.

I cannot honestly think of anyone since Tony Stark created Ultron who has been under the same kind of scrutiny and pressure as President Donald Trump. He is surrounded by scandals in an administration that can’t fill jobs and is under almost constant fire from the media and the rest of the world. Doesn’t matter what he says or does, if Trump so much as farts it’s a big news story that is hyper-analysed and no matter what some talking head is going to find a fault. So, I have to say, as much as I might dislike the man and how he conducts himself as POTUS, I have got to admire his resilience.

Although I do believe that there is only so far that resilience can go and this got me thinking recently when someone on another thread was talking about the “I-word”….Impeachment….

Now I have actually written an entire thread before about how I don’t actually want Trump impeached (shocker I know) but it got me thinking of the other way Trump could potentially leave office, he might resign.

Llike I said at the start of this thread, this guy is under some pretty intense scrutiny, regardless if you think he is deserving of the criticisms levelled at him there isn’t really any denying that it must be pretty tough going for him. So, I personally do think it’s possible that before his first term is finished he could find himself resigning I think that is more likely at least that him being impeached.

All he would do is spin it, say that actually “the deep-state” have drove him out, the country is lost, he just couldn’t continue to serve as POTUS with these evil forces pushing against him or whatever and we end up with president mike pence (please god no!).

Anyway, just thought it could make for an interesting discussion about what people think of the possibility of him resigning.

No. Absolutely freaking not. Why would he???

ETA: Oh wait, is this another click-bait thread where the title has nothing to do with the OP?

He is too arrogant to resign.

Hypothetically, if there is enough evidence for impeachment, my guess is he would have to be escorted out by the SS.

Dang!

My mistake.

Why would he is a good question.

I think it would be possible if it was felt his impeachment was impending or if it was just a case of it was all getting too much for him. If he gets destroyed in the Midterms, can't do anything is becoming more and more frustrated.

Or indeed it could be health reasons, he is a older guy, so that lets face it is probably the most likely reason that it would happen but I just figured it could be a interesting discussion.

Nothing to do with click-bait....

I actually think he would resign so that I could try to control the narrative, make some claim that it was the only way to expose what was really happening, sacrificing himself for truth.

I don't know, just speculating but its a interesting discussion.

You could be right, thanks for the reply.

Yesterday, during his press conference, he bashed Obama and tried to scare people, into thinking if Hillary were POTUS, she would have caused a war killing MILLIONS! PATHETIC SCARE TACTIC! He said the Economy was in terrible shape when he took office. Really? Because in 2008 the economy was in TERRIBLE shape. Unemployment was double digits.

trump, lied and said that all of the women who accused him of sexual assault, went on Fox news and said the MSM lied.

He needs to go. I think we will have to wait until 2020.....There is no way in hell, with his approval rating he will be back for a second term, unless its Jail. Cohen and Manafort. Thats all I have to say about that.

Yea, that's a pretty hypothetical question.

All the impeachment talk so far was just failed attempts by the left MSM. It didn't worked there and it won't work now, unless something new comes up. And not the type of garbage pushed by the media.

As the midterm talks, I'm not very familiar with the U.S. electoral process, but I do know that many more people are walking away from the Democrats than the Republican party. At least the ones I know and talk to.

I think he is in great shape, not sure if he has any kind of diseases or health issues that are classified to the sheeple but he seems pretty healthy on his speeches and interviews.

Will Hillary turn herself in for corruption, fraud and conspiracy?

Just posted these sentences in an other thread but will apply here too ...so...

People shouild try to work with Trump...not against him. He could be of such value to the US citizens. He is an unusual man and a more even unusual politician. He can not help this...being the person that he is. But I am sure that he can be a great president fr the USA if people just try to understand him and follow his train of thought. I think he is reasonable and open for suggestion when a decision is to be made. It is like guiding a child with incoherent thoughts towards what it wants and help it get there to the best option.

The way he is being burned by the MSM and a lot of vocal people will only frustrate him and will be a breeding ground for misunderstanding and bad decision making.

I won't hold my breath for that but right now I am asking about Trump possibly resigning one day

I mean if you want to talk about Hilary turning her self in then please feel free to go write a thread on that.

Trump will never resign, I don’t think he has it in him. He’d have to face the reality of who and what he is and I don’t think that’s possible at his advanced age.

It’s more likely he continues to lie and use his power and appointed lackeys to obfuscate and distract from the truth every chance he gets.

LOL. Electoral college didnt work, the hooker didnt work, Impeachment didnt work, Russian collusion didnt work, invoking the 25th didnt work.

So now you think maybe he will just resign?

Why would he resign from kicking liberal ass?

My post illustrates the likelihood of your question.

I'd say they both have equal chances of happening.

"the deep state has been exposed" (LOL) really? Just WHO makes up the "Deep State"(LOL).

Dude, there are very few EDUCATED people, who are not rich that support trump anymore. Nixon had supporters till the end too.....

Also, you people tend to blow off, the FACT that Russia spent MILLIONS and had THOUSANDS of people working to get trump elected...That is in THE SENATE REPORT!

I can GUARANTEE if Russia had done that for Hillary, she would be in Office right now! She would have not only won the poplular vote(which she did by MILLIONS) she would have wiped the floor with trump! Oh yeah, and if that would have happened you would be pissed off at Russia.

Trump said yesterday China is meddling in the elections now, and for democrats....Funny that trump did not do crap about Russia, but China is a threat, because its ANTI TRUMP! FACT!

Trump resigning is more likely than him being impeached... of course, we're still talking about a snowball's chance in hell of him resigning compared to zero chance of him being impeached. Let's be realistic here, the Resistance will never hold the supermajority required to actually remove him from office. It's not happening. He'll be a 2 term POTUS.
