I think it’s always important to give credit where credit is due. I think that if you just blindly hate on an individual or a particular issue
without recognising that at times the other side might have a good point or deserve some merit you actually just undermine your own position. Which
is why I have to say that there is something that I really admire Trump for.
I cannot honestly think of anyone since Tony Stark created Ultron who has been under the same kind of scrutiny and pressure as President Donald Trump.
He is surrounded by scandals in an administration that can’t fill jobs and is under almost constant fire from the media and the rest of the world.
Doesn’t matter what he says or does, if Trump so much as farts it’s a big news story that is hyper-analysed and no matter what some talking head
is going to find a fault. So, I have to say, as much as I might dislike the man and how he conducts himself as POTUS, I have got to admire his
Although I do believe that there is only so far that resilience can go and this got me thinking recently when someone on another thread was talking
about the “I-word”….Impeachment….
Now I have actually written an entire thread before about how I don’t actually want Trump impeached (shocker I know) but it got me thinking of the
other way Trump could potentially leave office, he might resign.
Llike I said at the start of this thread, this guy is under some pretty intense scrutiny, regardless if you think he is deserving of the criticisms
levelled at him there isn’t really any denying that it must be pretty tough going for him. So, I personally do think it’s possible that before
his first term is finished he could find himself resigning I think that is more likely at least that him being impeached.
All he would do is spin it, say that actually “the deep-state” have drove him out, the country is lost, he just couldn’t continue to serve as
POTUS with these evil forces pushing against him or whatever and we end up with president mike pence (please god no!).
Anyway, just thought it could make for an interesting discussion about what people think of the possibility of him resigning.
