Was there some other store there instead? I thought Mark Judge claimed he worked there in 1982 in his book.

Was that just fiction and she read it and used it?

I'm off to scour the interwebs.

Think it was called Albertson's back then.

I know the location. I don't think that's true. Can't say for certain it was a Safeway, but a grocery store did exist there at least in the late 1990s.

I believe comments in the thread suggest it was ALBERTSONS...until 2014

If it's always been a grocery and is currently a Safeway then I can imagine where she could have mistaken the name. Mark though should have known where he worked so if he said Safeway I wonder why.

According to this article Safeway was there since 1968.

www.washingtonpost.com... a5e24c0f3

Castleberry said the Potomac Village Safeway has "wanted to expand almost from the time we came in there in 1968. But we were always told by residents that they liked things 'just the way they are'. . . . It has always been a low-key village concept."

That's good enough for me.

Thanks.

Appears that in 1985 they wanted to expand as well.

"Representatives from Safeway Stores Inc. told county planners at the September meeting that it wants to enlarge its existing 20,000-square-foot store on the southeast corner of the Falls and River roads..."

Kavanaugh himself has stated how good of a tool polygraphs tests are to determine credibility but for her apparently, they are not useful? I see how that works.

She was calm, he was crying, yelling, erratic and even asked other if they liked beer and blacked out? If this had been a woman she would have been found histrionic and unfit for the Supreme court. He gets up there and cries and he's passionate, innocent and credible. I see how that works.

This entire thread and subject is a bunch of guys bantering back and forth assuring each other of the left being wrong, incorrect and evil. A good old boys club of which was on display yesterday and became apparent that they were very much interested in what she had to say but didn't care either way.

Would you knowingly let a man in your house that had been accused by 3 different persons and not proven of sexual assault around your wife and daughters? How about let him coach your kids.
?

I don't even think there is a voice of reason in this thread at all. All men, all "conservatives", all against finding out the truth. You want what you want, that guy in that seat regardless of what he may have done. That's a great message.

You'd do better to say that all avenues should be exhausted before he is approved to a lifetime job. Everything should be investigated to clear his name.

The conservative party. The party of morality. The biggest joke ever. Like to talk the talk but not walk the walk.
You can all jump on me and this post like you all did with my other one with defense and irrationality. It doesn't bother me. I know that women and others are tired of that crap and are at the point where they won't stand for it anymore. These past two years are a perfect example. The right isn't right. They like to grab them by the pussy. Anyone who supports that is morally bankrupt.

Don't call me a libtard, a leftist or socialist. I'm none of those. I'm an independent and will remain so. I want to see fairness on both sides.

Wait, think about this for a minute. Her life was ruined 30 years ago. Nah you wouldn't understand unless it has happened to you.

He's had a life of privilege. She renovated her house to have 2 front doors because she wanted more than one way to escape. Think about that!

You have NO IDEA how any type of assault whether consummated or not can affect a person. We'd never think about speaking ill of soldiers who have PTSD now would we?

If the FBI can clear his good name then things could look up for him. Maybe he should have drank less beer in his early years

She may havec experienced some form of trauma back then, and that is sad and awful. However, she cannot prove it was BK at all. The people she claims were there have sworn that they do not remember anything like that. Her best friend at the time even went so far are saying she never even met him, with or without Chrissy being there.

So, she has nobody to corroborate her story. Nobody. None. It is pure baseless accusation.

Is that enough in your world view to ruin someone's entire life and open his family to worldwide ridicule for the remainder of their lives? How about his 10 year old little girl? Can't you think of the children here at least and how these baseless public accusations that their daddy is a rapist!?!

Talk about heartless....SHAME ON YOU.

I know a tweaker who has 2 front doors. Doesn't mean he's traumatized...just means hes a little kooky-wacky.

how do you know what i have an idea of?

my first memory in life as a 7 year old is an armed intruder in my house trying to kill my parents so please dont tell me about what i know about trauma ok.

and this is all allegedly.

allegedly she had to renovate to have 2 doors to be safe.

interesting.

wonder how safe she feels housing all those google interns at her house. she admitted that at the testimony.

i just think that if a person is so scared they need 2 front door they probably would not house strangers in their home behind those 2 doors.'
what do you think?

bottom line is you are choosing to believe her and not him.

thats a fact

cause you dont know #. neither do i. neither does anyone else.

you probably had your mind made up as soon as the allegations came out.

am i right?

2 doors for safety???

my ass

That is what we "know". It's what has been circulating around. What if the FBI finds someone else or one of those people changes their answer, then what?

It's not a done deal otherwise there would be no need for an investigation. I guarantee you there is someone out there who knows something. It's just a matter of time if he truly is guilty.

If the FBI can clear his name? Are you American? People are not guilty until proven innocent by federal investigators. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Ford can't even be bothered to file a police report and her accusations aren't fact but he is expected to have investigators clear his name? That's rich.

You are willing to punish a person because they may have drank as a teen? SMH

I sure hope you are never on a jury.

Why? Because you WANT him to be guilty, you NEED him to be guilty.....RIGHT?

If anyone of those current "witnesses" recant and changes their story, they will be committing the felony by purjering themselves. If a new source comes to light (who would it be, since she listed everyone that was there?) then it would also be hearsay....right, not first hand witness testimony. More accusations? Yeah, sure....guilty until proven innocent in your mind, huh?

No thanks. I don't want to live in a country that is 500 years behind the times.

He's a witch!!!

Say it outright, that is exactly what you are thinking. At least be honest in your statements.
