IMO, by using the "afraid to fly" excuse for delaying the testimony to Thursday, (as opposed to this past Monday) Ford's lawyers were buying time. They had coordinated with other evil people, like Avenatti, to have accuser #2, and #3 hit the spotlight before Ford testified.

If Kavanaugh is confirmed, there will be tons of angry and depressed (we failed again!) Democrats.

I suspect after last night there will be no more of these ridiculous hearings. Creepy porn lawyer can tell his client to go to the police. Can you imagine allowing creepy porn lawyer into a Senate hearing? There are not many ways you could make a hearing a bigger clown show than last night, but that would be one of them.

If this late-breaking news is correct, there won't be any more hearings regarding Kavanaugh's nomination.

We have the votes!: townhall.com...

If the above article is accurate, the Full Senate will vote on Saturday, according to CNN.

Yeah also noticed the wall street journal is now supporting Kavanaugh. I also read an article by CNN legal analyst that flat out says Kavanaugh needs to be confirmed as miss ford presented no eveifence of her claims.

What was she in therapy for?

What was the prob with her husband?

She had 1 beer that night?! Really? Talk about black out!

When was her last liver transplant?

He tried to rape her with her clothes on and a 1 piece swim suit under them?

Do you realize how difficult that is?! lol

Not something i would attempt without a chain saw or flame thrower and 3 canadians.

She had nothing.

Baby voice and tears, the sig of the left.

Bite me. The left infantizided her. Make her a baby.

No one is buying it.

She talked and it was BS.

Bring on the gang rape chick.

Yeah, but she's the kind of woman you'd wake up to her boiling a rabbit on your stove ala Fatal Attraction.

Of all people, Jake Tapper (CNN) said on the air that Christine Ford delivered ZERO evidence to support her claim.

I think Ford acted strangely when she was questioned about the GoFundMe accounts. She seemed almost giddy and her eyes lit up a little. She said that she did not have a chance to manage them yet, as she had never done that before.

I hope it's true, but Fox is saying they won't be able to confirm until Tuesday at the earliest now. There are procedural votes to go through first. That means Kavanaugh can not be seated for the October session, but hopefully he will at least be seated.

The delay is at least a minor victory for the obstructionists, but I think it may have come at a very, very high cost. We'll get an idea what this did to the polls in a few days.

I think the Senate should work all weekend for 14 hour days and get this done by Sunday.

The woman holds a PhD in Psychiatry! Regardless of the discipline, she should be able to handle a GoFundMe page if there's a ton of money in it. In addition, she was obviously playing dumb about the polygraph test... that is in her discipline, and I would bet money she had polygraph tests administered as part of her studies to examine the principles behind it. I mean, come on... "Indelible on the hippocampus is the laughter" vs. "I don't know anything about a polygraph" or "I'm not sure how to operate a GoFundMe."

It's like me saying "I'm using a 354.2 kHz 1V peak sinusoidal waveform as a phase-modulated carrier" then adding "I don't know how to use an oscilloscope."

Meanwhile what we learned is Kavanaugh likes beer. He really likes beer. He drinks beer, He likes beer. Do your like beer?
and even though he bills himself as an optimist while yelling at the cameras ya gotta love him cuz hes just a regular guy who likes beer.
even though

the inside jokes on his high-school yearbook page list him as the treasurer of the “Keg City Club” and a member of the “Beach Week Ralph Club,” and make reference to “100 Kegs or Bust.”

So even though he has this reputation of being a drunk we should just believe the angry yelling blaming the clintons unbiased judge...

I think the problem is there's a rule that they have to open the floor for debate for a certain time before they vote to suspend debate. Working all weekend wouldn't bring him in under the October 1 deadline even if they worked 24/7.

Reputation as a drunk? I like beer... a lot! Maybe more than Kavanaugh. Do you consider me a drunk?

Lots of people like beer. And I am sure half the people that were questioning him got drunk during high school and college.

The point is, the whole line of questioning was stupid.

I'll have you know I only got drunk once during high school! It was in the 10th grade, and I finally sobered up after I graduated...

Kinda hard when the committee leader does allow anyone that can corroborate either persons testimony to testify or how those that can order an investigation to find evidence are sitting on their hands while yelling about the lack of evidence.

Almost like the GOP did not have these hearings in good faith.

What happened today was and is a travesty. Both sides were playing politics, not just one. If you think this is below anything Republicans would do, we simply do not agree.

Yes the Democrats deserve to be scorned for the way they handled this, but I'm not going to give the Republicans a pass just because the Dem's were the ones crawling on their bellies today. Republicans have their share of slime on their bellies also. One need only watch the attack ads they run to see how morally bankrupt both parties have become.

I would disagree that both sides were playing politics the R's were seriously reviewing a liars claims. THe left were pushing big fat lies.

True Libertarian here too not a member of the Uniparty crap.

Lots of people didnt mention beer twenty thousand times while testifying to congress about an incident that involved over comsumption of beer by an under age person accused of sexual assault. Not too smart if you ask me.
And like I said this admission makes him just one of the boys to you folks. Its all ok boys will be boys stuff. Locker room games. we've heard it all already which is why I mentioned it to begin with.
I really thought it telling that he tried to make it sound all so common and ordinary asking his questioners about their drinking habits in a weak attempt at projection. Do you like beer what do you drink have you ever passed out like it was so ordinary, like it mattered when he was the one being questioned not the congresswoman he was asking( who politely informed him that she did not have a drinking problem when I would have told him that he is the subject not her). But thats just me.

Here is part of what Julie Swetnick had to say:

The most disturbing part of Swetnick’s allegations regards the “gang rape” she alleges occurred at parties where Kavanaugh and Judge were present. She alleges that Judge, Kavanaugh, and others would “‘spike’ the ‘punch’” at parties “so as to cause girls to lose their inhibitions and their ability to say ‘No.’” They would target particular girls, and if the girls became very drunk or disoriented, they would be gang raped by a ‘train’ of numerous boys.”

www.vox.com...

She continues: “I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of those parties waiting for their ‘turn’ with a girl inside the room. These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh.”

Swetnick says that in 1982, she was a victim of such a “train” rape where Judge and Kavanaugh were “present,” but she does not say that they participated.

As far as "bias" goes, I would say that I am partisan. I would oppose a Trump appointee on principle. It strikes me as being impossible for someone to be nominated in an nonpartisan way. There is always a political agenda. In Kavanaugh's case, I believe Trump thinks that Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court might assist in shielding him from impeachment, because of Kavanaugh's opinion that a serving president should not be indicted. Indictment is a possible prelude to an impeachment trial.

But not even the 1st bit of proof by her either.

K is innocent and this was D playing dirty politics beyond the pale.
