One of the interesting things about Swetnick's situation is that all sorts of stories have suddenly appeared about her being in arrears on taxes. That's classic "push back" from power. They are afraid of her. I'm surprised they haven't found kiddie porn on her laptop.

Avenatti says she has settled her debts and that they are irrelevant to her allegations against Kavanaugh.

How much more do you want to know? Julie Swetnick had a defamation suit filed against her by a previous employer in 2000, she had a domestic violence incident resulting in the filing of a protection order in 2001, her ex-boyfriend who filed the restraining order says that she threatened him, his wife, and harm to his newborn child, she filed a sexual harassment case against a previous employer for an incident between 2006 - 2008, a hometown family friend says she's a "whack job" and that Julie's mother used to call his mother to talk about her mental health issues.

Yes the Democrats deserve to be scorned for the way they handled this, but I'm not going to give the Republicans a pass just because the Dem's were the ones crawling on their bellies today. I'll just leave it at yes, this today by Democrats and more importantly how they withheld this and used the media as willing partners for a last minute smear campaign is as bad as it gets. Feinstein who I once respected, even though I don't often agree with her politics, I no longer respect. Her handling that confidential information the way she did is about as sick of a thing as I can recall. She should resign and by the look on her face and her lack of animation today, she knows she sold her soul.

This should have all been investigated off the record first without exposing both families to the sick, sick scum we call the media now. They have destroyed two peoples lives and not one of them knows who is telling the truth. That they simply do not care is obvious and makes me want to vomit. In a perfect world this would lead to all of them apologizing to We the People and quietly slithering off into their own personal holes.

Its pathetic, I would find some way to get criminal on my accusers if I KNEW it was false accusations. Did you see the exchange about who leaked Ford's Letter to the press? Ford said she only gave it to her Representative, Feinstein and her Lawyer, who she only had latter in the process. One of them did the leaking.

Either the Rep or Feinstein team did the leaking. It's pretty obvious. It's going to be messy for Feinstein when we actually find out who the source of the leaked letter was.

Can't use the Chinese Spy excuse even. Damn.

I can't name one in the D's guys but I am sure someone left in the party of Donkey's believes in America the founders gave us. I sure can name some Libertarian and R's off the top of my head. But not ever a Bush.

What I learned today.
1. People who voted for Feinstein should probably not admit it.
2. Guilty until proven innocent is not the way it should work.
3. I am going to have to get rid of any woman my sons date and dump. Just to avoid future problems.
I really want to thank everyone that gave such good discriptions of what was going on.
I really believe something happened to Mrs. Ford.
I do NOT believe, for one minute, that Mr. Kavanaugh had anything to do with it.

We have a lot of work to do, fixing our reps.
They are a train wreck.
Right now, mostly on the Dem side.

Instead of relying on that sort of thing, let's have a formal complaint to the police and an investigation. If Kavanaugh is formally charged with rape by police in Maryland, that will scuttle his confirmation.

I only caught the Kavanaugh bit live. The Reps all offered their sympathies to him and to Ford. A very small number of (if at all) of the Dems did, for either party. I don't know if after Ford they all did. But at least in the Kavenaugh segment they (reps) did for the both of them, but the Dems didn't, why is that? Why the total lack of apathy for either party? I realize it's not a counselling session but it didn't appear that apathy was a misdemeanour in the court or anything. Hell even eating out of a tub of peanut M&M's is fair game there. and did you notice all the white people ignore the black cop at the door? but all the black people smiled and said hi to him. LOL. anyway the Dems seemed like assholes regardless who's right or innocent or guilty.

yeah i like the stance that maybe it did happen but it wasn't me. and if testimony verified and whatnot by the senate from 3 named witnesses by the accuser that deny her allegations isn't evidence then what is? and frankly, how many guys know a gal like that from their youth. one that will blow something way out of proportion for attention. that will embellish any sexual encounter (or even non-sexual encounters, I don't know the true extremes but seeing part extremism on that front myself I'd imagine it exists, amongst the men who are more alpha than i am) - i've got a feeling thats just a natural part of any young man's life, much the same as it would be for a woman to know a "stalker" guy so not like a special instance? especially for freshmen? or am I wrong and sexist? lol

I actually understood all of that and I agree 100%!!

One interesting bit of news floating around is that Murkowski, Flake and Collins had a private meeting with Democrat Joe Manchin earlier tonight to discuss the nomination. That might be a good sign for Kavanaugh, especially that a Democrat is even willing to have that meeting right now with the final vote possible as soon as this weekend.
