You think this is bad ?? Once that 200 year old hag Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies Trump is gonna get to fill that seat to.

And he will put forward a woman, and democrats won't be able to play the sex assault card this time.

Don't put it past them to try.

I’ve been intentionally not commenting on Ford’s credibility, but...

I did not find her credible beyond a reasonable doubt...

In fact, I, personally, find plenty of reasonable doubt.

I realize that not everyone agrees, but I think Kamala Harris's question was very telling. The idea of him not watching Ford's testimony, if he is innocent, is unbelievable.

.

incorrect sir
nobody agrees with you

Didn't we hear her say something along the lines of "Dr. Ford must have leaked it?"?

Could have sworn that's what I heard...

That goes a long way to showing just how truly they're "for the victims"...at least in this case. Meaning, not at all.

Grassley said that Ford had friends and maybe they leaked it.

Everyone is playing hardball on this confirmation so I hope that the allegations of Julie Swetnick result in rape charges against him in Maryland. They can't come soon enough, if they are coming. If he is appointed, the pressure to squash them will be tremendous.

so you believe he ran or help run gang rapes because he didnt listen to the testimony of Dr Ford.............

ok

So, if they come out tonight and have a vote for tomorrow, it is over.....they only do that if they know they have the votes. so, now we wait.......

God help us if either party ever gets complete control.

It's far more complicated and worse than that.

We suffer from a cultural cancer that will take generations to cure. What I have seen these last 20 years could never have been imaginable when I was a young boy.

I will say this much.... Anyone who would be a benefit to this nation would be NUTS to go through this process, leaving us essentially the bottom of the barrel (read: narcissistic sociopaths, because only they would want to do this at this point) for a very long time.

God help us all, indeed.

Betcha Cruz is thanking his lucky stars he lost the primary.

After the last two years of this snip.

Yes, because we all know whether it was any of them but Jeb Bush, this was happening and some slutty lie would pop up on everybody. All they think is make the accusation it doesn't have to stick, it just has to cause doubt.

No. A guilty person would have watched her testimony closely to be sure he could rebut any questions and keep the story straight.

The fact that he did not watch shows that he was confident, because he knew that he did nothing.

Kamala Harris just asked a very good question. She asked Kavanaugh if he had watched Prof. Ford's testimony before the committee and he said "No."

She wanted to leave it there but he added that he "intended to" and that he had been "preparing my own testimony".

As far as I'm concerned, this is not good for Kavanaugh. I think an innocent man would have watched the testimony with a great deal of attention. I think a guilty man would shy away from the recitation of details he was already very familiar with and trying to sweep under the rug.

Harris is an idiot. Her questions were either a tired repeat or a complete irrelevance. Of course Kavanaugh was preparing for his own meeting.
Every time Harris opens her mouth she embarrasses herself.

Did Ford's attorney NOT tell Ford Grassley offered to come to Calif. to interview her?

Now I think almost everyone on this thread, even left leaning members, th9ught the dmeocrats were disgraceful.

Now watch how the msm protrays this.

Already seeing people mocking kavanaugh for tears and saying he doesnt have the temperment to be judge.

As if they would all just lay over if they were called gang rapists all over televison for two weeks.

It is not only being called a gang rapist.
Have you ever had someone lie about you? Something you said or did?
Remember that feeling when you tried to justify?
With this case and these charges this feeling could probably be multiplied by 100.
I try to be a good man, I am not sure I can, in anyway, compare to what I have seen and read of Kavanaugh's life.
But just trying to be a good man, and have someone tell a "small" lie then have to defend it is a miserable feeling.
Can you imagine trying to defend yourself against this?
Knowing that you have spent your life respecting women, not objectifying them and promoting them to be accused of THIS.
He is a strong man.
I would have throttled someone by now.

Would you be more likely to watch her if you were innocent or guilty?

I feel like the guilty man would be more liekly to watch, because he would be trying to find little holes in the story to exploit.

The innocent man may just think I dont care what she said, I know I am innocent, and her etstimoney is irrelevant.

Why in the Hell would he listen to what he knows to be a whole lot of lies and false accusations? Of course, he's preparing for testimony that will decide the future of the rest of his life.

You'd be correct in assuming not everyone is going to agree with you. You may count me among them.

Well I think there is enough to warrant an FBI investigation.

1) What was in the envelope Shelia Jackson Leigh handed to Ford’s attorney that he slid in his jacket pocket?
2) Who leaked the letter to the press and when? Is there reason to believe this is a security risk?
3) Ford’s polygraph test. Who arranged and paid for it?
4) Why wasn’t Milano escorted out of the room after tainting Senate opinions with her disruptive sign?

Might be other things but those four really stand out.
