Like feinstein's tentative and reserved denial of leaking the documents or her meek and unconvincing flip-flopping on whether or not she questioned her staff. Feinstein gave herself away because she made the logical leap between her getting the anonymous report and the press *somehow* getting Ford's name/information.

That alone betray's feinstein's lie. It also makes clear that her staff likely leaked the document, either with her knowledge or by explicit instruction.

Good for Kavanaugh for coming out fighting. I was very impressed. It seldom pays to back a man into a corner where he's got nothing to lose. You may regret doing so. I think the Dems are busy regretting.

This is one of the most cringe-worthy, disturbing events I think I have seen. I'm not even sure we have words to accurately describe it. I'm personally at a loss, which as my post history will attest, is rare..

I'm a liberal too, though I'm on "perma-heathen" status for about a decade now.

Even if the allegations against kavanaugh are true, this is a sh!+show of the lowest order. I actually had to walk away during Harris, and probably wont return. That's coming from someone who simply doesn't get emotionally invested in these things. This has me pretty damn concerned about a lot of things, and I haven't been exactly quiet about my wariness in the past.

I'm sorry to say that at this point, I believe the fix is in. Kavanaugh will NEVER be confirmed.

I completely agree. And yes, its nice seeing the fiery side of Kavanaugh, but who blames him for showing it, he's literally fighting for his life here. If this smear sticks, his career and life is tarnished forever, so I'm happy to see him fighting to the level he is. And thankfully, he comes off as very detail oriented with incredible record keeping which helps lend credibility to his story, over the alleged victim who lacks all facts & evidence. This confirmation needs to happen. If the GOP folds, they'll never recover. This fight is worth it, not only for the party, but for protecting the constitution and making sure we don't have socialistic-progressives tearing this country apart.

As far as I'm concerned, this is not good for Kavanaugh. I think an innocent man would have watched the testimony with a great deal of attention. I think a guilty man would shy away from the recitation of details he was already very familiar with and trying to sweep under the rug.

You don't need to hear recollections of something that never happened - that is pretty darn simple. If someone was testifying that I was riding pink rhino's at the local zoo on Christmas Eve, I'd probably feel OK skipping hearing the testimony as well b/c I know I sure as heck never did that and focus on analyzing the whole charade that has been playing out over the last 8 weeks.

i see nothing wrong with him not watching her testimony

Sounds kind of gross...I think they make poor whiskey too and DGA is the only beer I drink of theirs, but it is good. I typically drink IPAs and stouts, so for me to drink an Ale says something.

Innocent until proven guilty. You need to get to 100% beyond reasonable doubt. I am at about 4%.

I'm not sure they can go much lower, but I've underestimated democrats before.
