To be fair I am surprised that the GOP is going to the mattresses on this one. Yes they are pandering to the base and it Seems to me that they will possible win this battle but it will cost them in the long run especially with the female vote.

This will do nothing to change people on either side. But the pivotal 20% of undecideds may view this differently

Pretty sure those 20% undecideds are not viewing this Democrat dog and pony show favorably, especially any among the 20% who are themselves male or have a male loved one who could one day see false allegations destroy their lives.

Nope. Just nope.

I have many liberal friends... While some see things the way you say, many others do not. So not as clear cut as you would like to believe.

I think most honest people see this as the travesty it has become. I'm pretty sure there will be consequences...just not the ones you expect.

A quick look online and the narrative is already being put together that Judge Kavanaugh is angry, volatile, and showing all the signs of being the type who might commit said crimes.
