Now you're claiming that she facilitated rape, and you're asking me to comment on your theory.

By that logic, everyone at those parties, that were her age or older were guilty of facilitating rape. Where were the parents. Aren't they also guilty of facilitating rape, underage drinking and driving, and god knows what else!

Lock them up!

Thats her claim right? She didnt see kavanaugh rape anyone, and didnt claim he raped her.

But he was there getting kids drunk.

As an adult, if you are drinking with underagers, knowing they are going to get gangraped, and you keep drinking with them, I would say that is facilitating it.

So yes, by her own admission, she did this.

Strange many hailing her as a victim havent called her out on that.

Call me crazy but if you keep showing up to a gang-bang party in your younger years...

...you might be a pornstar!

This would make sense given her lawyer is creepy pornstar lawyer Avenatti.

I don't think victims coming forward to confront and accuse their abuser is a result of "snapping out of it". On the contrary, it's a symptom of a nervous break and a brave step toward "diving in head first" into the emotional turmoil of the event. It's the result of a personal "constitutional crisis".

In 1982 she was 19 years old. She wasn't an adult, she was a minor.

Not asking you to prove it.

Im implying that an accusation isnt enough for some to make a guilty judgement and that proof is a requirement, of which the accuser must provide.

I did ask if you thought that fact was important...but you twisted my words or misinterpreted and skipped that part, didnt you??

Okay, you're right. 18 is adult. But, it wasn't her house. She didn't buy the liquor. She didn't spike the punch. She observed, probably in hindsight.

Nobody is asking for criminal proceedings here. This is about the fitness of a US Supreme Court nominee.

You must not be from the States.

If you are not from the states, why are you SO interested in our politics?

I think Swetnick has zero credibility but I don't think what's described of Mr. Vinneccy makes him out to be the most honest character either.

Yeah.. it seems that Sweatneck has led a life of conflict.

Yes you did.

Very true.

But can you prove a 30 yr old gang-rape took place (not to mention took place multiple times over several years, allegedly)?

Yeah, okay, but this isn't a criminal court we're talking about, but if was, I'd say, "Tell it to the Catholic Church and Bill Cosby!" LOL

It gets more and more interesting...

Julie Swetnick, the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and a friend of attending house parties where women — including herself — were sexually assaulted, had a restraining order filed against her years later in Miami by her former boyfriend.

A Miami-Dade County court docket shows a petition for injunction against Swetnick was filed March 1, 2001, by her former boyfriend, Richard Vinneccy, who told POLITICO Wednesday the two had dated for four years before they broke up.

Thirteen days later, the case was dismissed, not long after an affidavit of non-ability to advance fees was filed.

According to Vinneccy, Swetnick threatened him after they broke up and even after he got married to his current wife and had a child.

“Right after I broke up with her, she was threatening my family, threatening my wife and threatening to do harm to my baby at that time,” Vinneccy said in a telephone interview with POLITICO. "I know a lot about her.”

"She’s not credible at all,” he said. “Not at all.”

Politico article

Sounds like a really reliable lady, right?

Wonder what the rest of her background check is going to bring up...

And as an aside, Avenatti is a scumbag.

It just get's sweeter and sweeter.

I'm not trying to be overly facetious, or even overly sarcastic, (even though that's my only ACTUAL job on ATS, providing the requisite balance of sarcasm), but look at it logically.

Consider it a "character" study.

Long ago, in ages past, when almost all the peoples of the earth understood that the term "mankind", meant everybody, male and female, and not a single SJW stood in protest of the term.

Long before these dark times.

Alas, should a woman stand and claim "This man is FULL of Devilry". All the priests of the temple shall take him, without fail, for she is without sin, always, and it is written that she SHALL be heard, for only agents of darkness shall protest, and should they be NOT sanctified, her will SHALL be done, and they will be cast out.

Thus sayeth the Lord.

How would i expect YOU to prove anything, when you obviously dont even have the capacity to comprehend straightforward comments?

She was 19. Sorry, I conflated adulthood with the drinking age. She wasn't old enough to drink or buy alcohol. But, she could vote, and she could have been tried in a court of law as an adult.

I conflated the drinking age with adulthood, because Kavanaugh and his attorney repeatedly claimed that Brett was of legal drinking age in his senior year in high school and at Yale. He wasn't, because the drinking age was 21.

How do you know? You are just making things up now.

I am also assuming, but I feel my assumption is very liekly.

I am saying she didnt by the alcohol, or even give alcohol to underagers, but she was there drinking with them

And she knew they were about to be gang raped.

You can spin it any way you want, that is disgusting and unforgivable.

So why would we take her word for anything without proof?

And yes, you are right, no one is asking for criminal proceedings.

That is disgusting!!!

If anyone is a gang rapists our facilitator of it, i want them locked up, not to just lose a job!

What you mean to say is this isnt about justice for the victims of gang rape, who cares about that.

Its about politics.

Women who have been gang raped sometimes tend to have screwed up lives and tend to act out their PTSD.

Do they also tend to leave the college dorm they live in for the weekend to hang out with 15 year old guys at rape parties for 9 or 10 times without alerting the authorities before they get raped themselves? In a town where I guess after each party everyone's minds were wiped clean as they left the party because nobody else anywhere remembers anything like this?

This is the crappiest fiction I have ever read.

I really cannot believe anyone is stupid enough to believe this.........

Sometimes I wonder if Stormy's entire role in this whole thing isn't just to keep the Republicans busy so they don't go after the porn industry like usual when they have the WH and majority. It would make sense why both her and her lawyer have been heavily involved.

Left alone, I think a guy like Sessions would probably not be able to resist trying to persecute the porn industry. And they're obviously very aware of it too.

I can't prove anything because I'm not a witness to any of this. I'm just an armchair juror, like you.

And yes, Bill Cosby was convicted without forensic evidence, just eyewitness testimony. The Catholic Church is paying out millions of dollars on decades old cases that have no forensic evidence, just eye witness accounts.
