There never will be a conclusion to this case, in my opinion. It has become so much a mess due to "humans" since December 1980 - nothing alien - that the case when reviewing on its own merits is so convoluted its hard to know where to start!

I personally believe that whatever SAPs were ongoing at the base, played their part in the events that unfolded and the effects that people suffered. I believe that the case will not be concluded until certain aspects of the secret projects there are revealed, which is highly unlikely to ever occur.

I believe it was something human, that appeared like magic to those that didn't have a need to know, that went very wrong or was purposely targeted at people as part of a test. I would even conclude that Rendlesham wasn't the only place where such a test may have occurred either.

But the twitching rotting corpse of RFI will continue to be resuscitated each time a new "book" or "witness" trots along to rip its pound of flesh from an already pretty bare carcass.

Maybe we are used to participating in a thread/case/ufology to where odd things become normal? Yeah this Smith guy maybe ill and no-one should take glee or enjoyment from that...but when you have to use the words "porn star in a hot-tub" posting this news and ..... I just can't anymore...

Quite frankly, its embarrassing...

There is a 702 page book out. I have no clue re its contents . Perhaps in time info will come to light once it has been read which will either add clarity or cause further confusion and divide. I really do not know at this stage.

As far as the seedy stuff go it is not a good area to go into .

Whatever the real story is re Smith it appears to have caused further conflict.

Have you read any of the other books on the case that you feel shed more light on the case?

I cant really say MM as without knowing the actual contents of the new book I simply cannot compare or even speculate. If you mean do I have any preference book wise re the others my answer is a simple no.

To fast forward , not only did she conduct the interview but she also features in the Capel Green movie. I quoted her words a few posts back about this. It is easy to find that info but you do have to pass some x rated material to find it. She is an adult entertainer/ artist.

Being in the GH / LW mockumentary is all I need to tap out of this BS again.

As for DY posting her stupid naked bath video, The Gut posted her madness here also. Her bathtub mad musings were easy enough to find. Nobody should be deriding DY for doing what most of us did instinctively whilst having a chuckle

Capel G, Featuring The Dark Matter Man and the Pronstar-Polly aren't worth anyone's time.
But that's what RFI has come to.

You could join that thread

Difference between him and RFI crazy is he seems quite happy to speculate that he may actually be a little bonkers.

No I meant have you read any of these books below?

Skycrash
Theft at East Gate
You Can't Tell the People
Encounter in Rendelsham Forest
The Halt Perspective

If so whether you found them useful?

I'd say we already have an answer, for the last 30 - 40 years in fact. What we don't have though is 'official' admission..not that that really matters, those official buggers lie their arses off about almost everything anyway.

Rendlesham is like Roswell...decades later, many witness testimonies, high ranking people among them, and still the crickets are chirping.

Until the whole story about ETs and UFOs is finally admitted to, these more famous cases will stay as they are i'm afraid.

I don't have the Halt Perspective MM, only bits of it.

The other 4 I do, none float my boat.

That might not be the answer you want from me, but that's it in a nutshell.

Do you have something new to add that you have extracted from Greg Bishop's book?

By that I don't mean start copying and pasting chunks from the book. A concise paragraph should suffice.

Thanks for putting this together. I have sent a PM, if ok?

Meanwhile, Irish UFO researcher Miles Johnston has presented a series of videos about Rendlesham that focus on the British investigators. As he puts it:

FINALLY after 15 years we give you Bases 3, with some work from the British Investigators... so maligned, attacked and ignored... with Three of the archive master tapes stolen, we give you Part 1.. Shot in 2005 and 2006, on location...

At least four of these have been posted on YouTube in the last few days. I have only watched about 15 minutes of part 1, which introduces Peter Parish and Brenda Butler, with Larry Warren making a guest appearance on location. Peeking at later videos, they seem to go ultra-eccentric, episode 3 presenting Butler's wild experiences with the infamous shape-shifting David Daniells.

So, something in there for everybody!

Here's part 1, then (I'll probably watch the rest of it later, not in the mood at present), with Parish and Butler discussing the very strange story of an experimental aircraft (so much for the David Daniells story if that's the case) that suffered problems and landed in Rendlesham forest, necessitating the attendance of base personnel who tried to repair it before loading it onto a truck that transported it to the base. Not only that, there was a previous landing site for a missile-shaped piece that had detached from the main craft, which was airlifted by helicopters. These sketchy accounts bring to mind Adrian Bustinza's bizarre comments in the 80s, but, as the saying goes, make of this what you will, gang...

Watching more of part 1, it's actually quite relaxing to sit through - a curious mix of facts, rumours and conjecture from the early days of the RFI before it hit the headlines. There are fascinating tidbits such as the first alleged landing site for the missile-shaped object being witnessed by a man walking his dog at 11pm on the 27th Dec 1980 (when Halt was still at the party). Although Butler doesn't say his name, a sketch of the scene from that time clearly names him as "Mr Gladstone".

And on it goes... Is it just me, or is there something utterly charming about these early stories? Eg, it's still amusing to hear about Butler's mate Dot Street being smuggled onto base under a blanket in the back of a car!

Dear 'ole Brenda is a sweet soul. She may now claim to communicate with forest fairies, and believes in shape-shifting reptilians etc, but her more grounded early work on the RFI was important. Dot Street had enough and packed all this in years ago, but if Brenda's happy with her more extreme beliefs these days, good luck to her.

as crazy as some of the story sounds the BT's around now have a small blue 'device' that it can use for a decoy or ECM that looks like a blue light and might be related to the blue disk they saw under the older BT

Yeah, Penroc, I was at that point, too, and had to press "STOP" for a breather. It's like dropping further and further into a rabbit-hole of their own fevered imaginations.

However, suddenly the ultra-Woo is toned down for a bit when an interesting question with pictorial evidence is posed: Was the landing site photo first published in Bruni's book (depicting PC Creswell and others) actually the true site? Parish believes he has found the exact same spot by being there and comparing pics - if true, it's way off from Penniston and Burroughs' 'official' area, where it would not have been possible to see lighthouse beams.

Hmmmm... an original idea, but does it hold water?

TBH, there is too much wacky-woo stuff surrounding some interesting info such as strange marks still existing on trees that survived the 1987 hurricane, and questions such as why would Halt investigate the site from Night One? However, many will have switched off when they saw the pics of a plastic Grey propped up in the forest. I mean, ffs...

Very much so. Humans are not designed to download binary code from machines and then recall it perfectly. Never mind the Ancient Aliens type story Penniston agreed to take part in. If it was that pressing a matter then how come they took so long to get the book out? The truth is that Penniston's story was badly in need of smoothing out and god were they afraid of all the inconsistencies. They are still there. He can't clean them all up.

I wouldn't recommend buying the book to anyone.

Rendlesham like Roswell is now dead for a number of reasons. Once upon a time these cases were everything in ufology. Now they are nothing.

But in dedication to someone who no longer posts here but also gave us everything and nothing, I'll leave you with this.

Am back to this post. You have grown up with this case MM and probably know way more than the average bear and about people involved. You are probably in a very unique position with these threads on Rendlesham too in regards to info. For you not to recommend the purchase of the new book said so vocally , I can only conclude you have some serious data which is not sitting well, rather than simply disliking something or all of us discussing all the problems. It was just an observation my part.

Image if there really was new and serious data and at this stage I can only speculate. Would you not want to know if only for your own long term interest's. All this suggests to me you may know more about this than you are letting on.

Me personally will wait for Kindle and also watch how it unfolds. Can I take it this will be the one book that won't be added to whatever Rendlesham book collection you might have?

Well what if there is something waiting to explode and expose the whole Rendlescam that has been perpetuated by a number of parties? Perhaps you need to find an old interview or two somewhere, maybe run the binary code backwards instead of forwards, or look for the answer beyond the personalities providing Rendytainment down the years. Maybe I do know more than I am letting on. Maybe you do too? Maybe others elsewhere know? Or maybe we don't.

Or maybe I just lost interest in the sham.

Speculation is guesswork and that's all it is. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary cautiousness.

What's the deal with the downed Russian satellite story they tell in this clip and the bit about the wife of a service man who was swiping photos and documents from the base? Elaborate cover story, elaborate prank or a valid explanation? I am not familiar with every nook and cranny of this case like others here. Is this something that has been hashed over before?
