Somebody in the audience said something inaudible, then hilarity ensued. I would really like to hear amplified audio of this clip.

If it was inaudible, then why do you assume it was heard by everyone to laugh at it? Why would Trump make a comment about not having expected to be laughed at?

PS: The video has been posted several times in the thread. If you can't hear it, how about turning the volume up on your speakers?

All he said was I wasn't expecting that.

Why didn't you tell the poster I responded to that then? He's the one who believes it. He has now even gone on to affirm that belief. Yet here you are chastising me. It makes me wonder about your intentions.

I didn't see it, it's a fast-moving thread. Why didn't you just say that when I first responded to you then? Why did you continue to try to argue his point?

I assumed you were defending him. He threw me for a loop later when he affirmed his belief in empires though.

You could've just agreed with me. You don't though. I saw your other post. We're not "technically" an empire? What's with the qualifier? We're not an empire, period.

I said that because we aren't an empire, but you can view our military projection and aid as an empire-like presence. I wouldn't call it a traditional empire, but when the US speaks, the world listens. It's been that way since WWII.

I do not really need to spell it out, our foreign policy does it for us. BTW, India South Korea and Japan are reducing their Iran oil imports to zero. Good to know our friends remember where their loyalties lay.

Our fellow Americans, like most human cattle on Earth, are too stupid to even know whats good for them. You think a chain smoking alcoholic that gets frustrated in line because he keeps pushing the wrong button for credit has any #ing clue what an actual empire even looks like?? They do not have time for such drivel when they need to speed home risking injury or citation to catch that NFL, NBA, or WWE game on tv, followed by three hours of video games.

Lets not forget the GEC produced theater that we get to fume over everyday
oh yea baby, we are enjoying it right now in this very thread in fact.

Fantastic.
Goes with the why do they defend everything he does thread very well.

You guys take it so personal.

That's hilarious considering the only reason this thread exists is so Trump haters can feel better about themselves. "See! See! The world agrees with us!" You guys should just start a local support group.
edit on 25 9 18 by face23785 because: (no reason given)

I laugh a lot when Trump talks because I know how never-Trumpers react to everything he says.

Yes. Butthurt is the right word. Throwing insults is a very obvious defense mechanism to keep from debating a topic you don't like.

I'll chalk it up to a misunderstanding then.

I'm pretty sure you don't know what an empire looks like either.

Not to mention he's wrong. He had his mental health checked in his annual physical last year, despite his doctor saying it wasn't needed.

Yeah most of us have read the same threads here. Its just sad the vitriol spewed. I really think people need to step back.

Americans need to get their act together. But in amongst all these bleatings I really suspect some of these Americans dont like the idea of unity and although they may be better off would rather split the country apart "on principle"

No, pretty sure it's just acting like an asshole, which, let's be honest here, can be a lot of fun when one actually is an asshole.

Insults like calling the President a joke, stupid, uninformed? Are those defense mechanisms too?

Maybe if we were using them to deflect from the topic at hand, but there is a logical difference between making a topic about Trump's stupidity complete with some proof and deflecting to call Trump stupid because the thread is about something else.

Globalists don't believe in concepts like "we're all Americans" because that sounds too nationalistic, which is racist, or something. Open borders, socialism, one-world government and economy are the goals. Coming together as Americans doesn't advance those goals.
